Gunmen Abduct 2 Priests, Lecturer In Kogi

Three persons including a reverend father, Leo Michael, and yet to be identified pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and a lecturer with the Kogi State College of Education (Technical Kabba), Mr Samuel  Aronimu, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
While the two priests were abducted along Lokoja-Okene road, the lecturer was kidnapped along Kabba-Okene road.
Michael, who is the presiding priest of Saint Michael Catholic Church, Obajana, was abducted on Tuesday evening at Irepeni village in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi state

Babatunde it was gathered, was on his way to Lokoja for further verification exercise, as he has not received his salary for several months because of the alleged issues he had with the exercise.
According to the diocesan Chancellor of Lokoja Diocese, Bishop Peter Adinoyi, the abductors came from the bush near the Irepeni village very close to a roadblock mounted by men of the Nigerian Army.
He explained that the abductors appeared on the highway in a commando style and dragged Michael along with RCCG pastor sped off into the bush leaving the two vehicles belonging to the victims along the road.
The Bishop stated that the abductors had established contact with some members of the Church and demanded an initial N50m ransom.
He, however, said they had brought down the ransom down to N8m, threatening to wait for the worst if their demand is not met before 1 pm Thursday.
The clergyman lamented that abductions were mostly targeted at the poor people, saying security of lives and properties of the people could no longer be guaranteed.
He called on the state government to quickly address the ugly situation to prevent the country from becoming a failed state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), William Aya, who confirmed the abduction of the Reverend father, said the command not aware of the abduction of the other pastor and the lecturer.

It’s time to dismiss Saraki from APC, he must be shown the way out- APC Deputy Spokesman.

Yekini Nabena, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called for the dismissal of Senate President Bukola Saraki from the party for anti-party activities.
Nabena said this in a statement titled 'Time to Expel Saraki from APC', which was released in Abuja on Wednesday.
The statement, which followed the defection of 15 APC senators and 37 lawmakers from the House of Representatives, accused Saraki of working in cahoots with the defectors.
It said: “Being the ringleader, therefore, there is no justification for APC’s continued toleration of Saraki. He must go now. Or be shown the way out.”
Nabena said the APC leadership was not surprised by the defections, which it called the "culmination of the deserters’ anti-party activities. It said what shocked observers was Saraki’s utterances and body language, which revealed unconcealed cooperation with the defectors.

“The news of the about 15 senators who reportedly defected from our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), today hardly came as a surprise to anyone, not least the APC leadership. What however, shocked political observers, especially democratic minds, was Senate President Bukola Saraki’s postures and expressions, which clearly communicated his unhidden complicity in the charades against his supposed party.

“Clearly, Saraki had a big hand in organising the events that transpired in the National Assembly today. He has, therefore, lost the moral justification to remain in APC. The time to expel him from the party is now. The public outing by the deserters at the National Assembly was the culmination of months of anti-party activities organised and directed by Saraki. And every scene in that dramatic work of shame revealed his hand.

“When the senators submitted the letter declaring their intention to leave APC, which was excitedly read by Saraki, Senate Leader Senator Ahmed Lawan attempted to point out what should have been the right procedure if APC had a true party man at the helm. Lawan tried to emphasise the need to allow some time for dialogue, knowing that politics is always a game of negotiation, dialogue, and agreement. Rather than listen to the Senate Leader and stand down the defections, at least temporarily, to see how the situation could be salvaged, Saraki simply gave in to his own consuming interest in the whole affair and enthusiastically shut down the valid intervention by Lawan.

“The Senate President went on to make a deceitful case for the defectors: 'APC as a democratic institution of democrats understands that people have the freedom of association'. Saraki did not need to remind us or anyone of that fact. Like we had cause to emphasise in a recent statement, 'The APC is not averse to dissenting positions. But we reject deceit in every shade or form.

“We have also previously emphasised the fact that the Senate President is the major sponsor of the so-called Reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC), which has pulled out of APC, and whose members in the National Assembly staged the exit that we saw today. Being the ringleader, therefore, there is no justification for APC’s continued toleration of Saraki. He must go now. Or be shown the way out.”

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY DEFECTION: ACCORD PARTY CALLS FOR PROTECTION OF DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY DEFECTION: ACCORD PARTY CALLS FOR PROTECTION OF DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES...Demand respect for rule of law and principles of separation of powers...

The Accord party in Kogi state wishes to call on all stakeholders in the ongoing national crisis occassioned by the gale of defection currently ongoing in the National Assembly and the resultant reactions from other institutions of government to exercise caution and restraints in the violation of known laws and attempt to cause breakdown of law and order

We were greeted on tuesday morning with the news of security agents surrounding and blocking off the residence of the Senate President and his deputy for yet to be ascertained reasons. This development to us is a gruesome assault on the principles of separation of power and a heavy blow on the independence of the legislature. This to say the least is despicable and injurious to our fledging democracy, it is a sad reminder of the horrific millitary dictatorial past and a dangerous  sign to sustainance of democracy particularly on our journey to 2019 general election. The action of the security agents and their sponsors is a national embarrassment that must not be swept off.

Our party is also concerned, perturbed and worried by the desecration of the provisions of law by members and the leadership of the national assembly particularly as it relates to change of political party as exemplified by the manner the supposed distinguished and honourable members decamped away and to parties as if no law has been violated. This is nothing but an open display of legislative arrogance, fraud and impunity in high places as conducted by lawmakers and condoned by the leadership of both chambers.

Accord Party in Kogi state wishes to therefore warn all parties involved to remember the tortuous journey to democracy in Nigeria and the sacrifices made to get here and reverse themselves from this undemocratic, unconstitutional and dangerous path that is capable of truncating our cherished democracy and enthroning anarchy and dictatorship in Nigeria.

In view of these most unfortunate and avoidable national embarrassment, we enjoin Nigerians to reject and vote out these undemocratic forces and enthrone selfless, purposeful, patriotic and result-oriented governance and representation that Accord party truly stands for.

We assure Nigerians of our readiness to offer the much desired alternative leaderahip for national prosperity

Thank you,

Accord Party !

Dear Comr. Mohammed Bello Shagari

Dear Comr. Mohammed Bello Shagari

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR CALL TO NATIONAL SERVICE .

Let me quickly impress it upon your subconsciousness that at the end of today's exercise in Gombe state, there is an undercurrent of hope renewed in the heart of Nigerian youths.

Today, Nigerians that belong to the largest demography - the youths, and indeed the rest of the country, have cause to celebrate with you as the president-elect of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

It is truly not just an opportunity to send our well-wishes and prayers to a comerade of note with a sterling reputation for excellence but also a time to express confidence and commitment to your leadership.

Your emergence was in fact the crowning moment of the life of a man who has given himself wholly to patience, persistence and prayers; it is a proof that you  represent the hope of so many Nigerian youths who are confident in your ability to hold the breaking seams of the council together by dislodging the instrumentalities of subjugation weaponised by naysayers.

While you merry sir, be magnanimous enough to extend a hand of comeradeship to other aspirants that lost out during the polls for only God enthrones kings.

Any one can rule but only a few have the charisma to lead. We're forthwith convinced that you belong to the latter exclusive group of leaders. All hands must therefore gravitate towards the realization of your action plan, all of which must be built on your sense of fairness, justice and equity.

May God grant you the life, liberty and limbs to stir this ship to a successful end. Again, i say congratulations for this huge feat.

Comr. (Dr) Tolu Omotugba,
A Nigerian youth
from Kogi state

Police planing to detain me-Saraki Laments

I have been reliably informed that the police invitation was planned by the IG as a ploy to stop an alleged plan by some Senators and House of Representatives members from defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC). It was also said that if I was detained between Tuesday and Wednesday, that will abort the so-called defection plan.

While I continue to maintain that the issue of my position on the 2019 elections is not a personal decision for me alone to make, it should be noted that all these concoctions and evil plots cannot deter me. Those behind this fresh assault will fail as I have nothing to do with the robbery incident or any criminal matter for that matter.

I am aware that following a request made by the Police on June 13, 2018 to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) of the Federation had written a legal advice dated June 22, 2018, in which he stated on page 5, paragraph (f) that "For the Senate President and the Kwara State Governor, this office is unable to establish from the evidence in the interim report a nexus between the alleged office and the suspects.”

The Police have obviously corrupted and politicized their investigations into the Offa robbery incident. They have turned it into an instrument for the party in power to suppress perceived opponents, witch hunt issue for blackmailing people from freely choosing which platform on which they want to pursue their ambitions and a matter for harassing the people whose exit from APC would harm the chances of the party in the forthcoming elections.

I want to make it apparent that I have no hand in either the robbery incident or any criminal acitivity. The Police in their haste to embarrass me sent the invitation to me at 8pm and requested that I report to the station by 8am tomorrow morning. This obviously demonstrated their desperation as I do not see why they are now in a hurry.

They also stated in today's letter that because in my response of June 7, 2018 to their own letter written on June 4, 2018, I stated that I was responding simply to the contents of the letter and that the full text of the statement made by the arrested suspects which they claimed indicted me was not made available to me, they were now including the suspects statements in the current letter. Yet, instead of including the suspects' statements, they only attached two copies of my own letter to the invitation. No suspects statement was made available.

This plot aimed at compelling me and my associates to stay in a party where members are criminalised without just cause, where injustice is perpetrated at the highest level and where there is no respect for constitutionalism is an exercise in futility and it will fail.

Once again, my confidence in God and our judicial system remains intact and unshaken. The truth shall also prevail in this case.

LETTER TO COMRADE ADAMS OSHIOMOLE, APC MURDERED SLEEP IN KOGI STATE.

LETTER TO COMRADE ADAMS OSHIOMOLE

By Hon. Musa Bakare

Dear sir,

NOVEMBER 2015 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION,
APC MURDERED SLEEP IN KOGI STATE.

One cannot but deeply and with a sense of honesty sympathise with the very serious fact that you had been saddled with a very difficult responsibility of healing festering wounds in your party, the healing of which cannot come without a very deep sincerity, honesty and capcity.

I am not privy to the handover note Chief John Oyegun your predecessor handed down to you in the twilight of his exit as the chairman of the party neither am i asking to be availed. I am also not here to judge him neither am i here to sniff into his stewardship while he he presided, but if Kogi state is not mentioned in more than one paragraph as a state with a festering APC self inflicted yet very dangerous sore that the party must urgently and deeply seek the cure and clean up some terribly ugly scare, you may wish to invite him to accompany you into paying an immediate and indeed a very urgent visit to Kogi State and to the people of Kogi State to hear them out.

The people of Kogi today are in pains and are suffering my Comrade, and your emergence as the chairman sends some sweet tones of relief

Nigerians know you too well Comrade.

They know you as a man they hugely love, a man endowed with tremendous energy, brain, brawns and capacity.

Nigerians do not know you to be a  pretender on issues bothering on human welfare management. As a labour leader you were tremendously loved by Nigerians and indeed Nigerian workers. As Governor of Edo state you were not only deeply adored by your Edo citizens but you were tremendously  admired by Nigerians and citizens of the World far and near  the borders of  Edo state.
These, to say just a little is the much  that Nigerians know of you comrade

Your ascension to the exalted position of chairman of the ruling party in Nigeria therefore ought to have been welcomed with great relief, nostalgia and expectations but belief me Comrade you came a little too late. Late in the sense that your party men and women had been inundated with assault to their sensibilities and left with little moral attachment and togetherness

What Chief John Oyegun bequeathed to you as a political party is an extremely battered, abused and thoroughly withered political party, completely different from what he was handed to midwife and nurtured into a pan Nigerian political party (political family) the dream of the founders of the party in just a little over four years ago.
May God grant you the Solomon's wisdom to pilot the party for the sake of Nigerians yet unborn

Under his watch, a political party that enjoyed almost a total national acceptability with a tremendous and an overwhelming goodwill traded away the opportunities within less than a year into its  administration with the very shady, unwieldy and extremely untidy way the party handled the very first major challenge it faced, the November 2015 Gubernatorial election  in Kogi state, which will continue to beat every sincere and  honest imaginations both within Nigeria and beyond for a very long time to come

No one, Comrade had attempted to explain to the people of Kogi  the intrigues that played out in some clear terms what attended the party's brazen throwing of cautions into the winds, behave like the people are not important and with an orgy celebration of impunity arrived at choosing to anoint someone who clearly and with an overwhelming evidence worked against her fortunes  in the election, who was at that material time not a registered member of APC and also not a registered voter in Kogi State to replace the man who with his principal spent huge resources, expended great energy and time pulled together the people of the state like never before, that sacrificed all they had to ensure victory for the party as its candidate to stand election and contest in a concluded election that the umpires, the  INEC adjudged inconclusive.

That election was clearly, overwhelmingly and convincingly concluded Comrade.

The entire World and not just Nigerian are fully aware of some of  the ugly National hide and seek, miscarriages and pretences we indulged in here. No one however believed such could play out under an APC administration and indeed not in any ones imagination that it could happen when an upright man like President Muhammadu Buhari is in charge

With such a background, it is little wonder therefore that things had gone from bad to worse in the lives of the people since the party took over in Kogi State especially in terms of insecurity with the killings here and there,  non payment of salary and gross impunity

That monumental injustice, unfairness and cheating meted out to Kogi citizens by declaring inconclusive an election that the entire World saw as concluded and the winner and losers already known, except of course INEC and the minister of justice is a monumental act of murdering sleep and as such, APC had since then being unable to sleep no matter how much it pretend.

The people of Kogi lined up in their numbers behind the winners of that election in the pursuit of justice from the election tribunal up to the Supreme court of the land.
They left the Supreme court with the belief that the party and not the courts dispensed the judgement they got.

As humans, members of APC in Kogi state and the entire Kogi people felt and rightly so Comrade, that the winner from the courts would be magnanimous in victory and call for some form of settlement. This unfortunately was never to be.
The Governor immediately after his emergence from Supreme court embarked on seeking a pound of flesh behaving like he was the aggrieved, take on vindictiveness as a way of approach and shunned every attempt at reconciliation.

Every right thinking people thought too that the chairman of the party Chief John Oyegun as the father of all members  would summoned the winners and the losers in an attempt at assuaging frayed nerves in the interest of not just the moment but future elections

This was never to be and the people of Kogi  state had been the major victim

The members of All Progressive Congress and its executives in Kogi State, elders and leaders of the party and indeed the  people of the state, the goose that laid the proverbial golden egg, who worked for the fortunes of the party were sidelined and abandoned. In their stead, the members of Peoples Democratic Party  that were abusing and insulting us while we toiled and worked in the rains and sunshine, day and night for the successes and so many others who were no where near Kogi state at the time of the campaigns and election were brought in to form the new Government of APC in Kogi State.

The endless staff screening embarked upon and the attendant non payment of workers salaries in Kogi state with lots of people loosing their jobs and some even died in the process, can only be said to be the citadel of all other errors in governance in a state where poverty was hitherto seen as the second name and who had thought your party will make the different.

Kogi people principally because of the love and confidence they had in President Muhammadu Buhari were consumed in the change mantra of APC and voted massively for the President and the party in the elections only to be allowed to wallow in misery, pains and suffering in place of some form of democracy dividend.

This clearly is a major pointer to the fact that the party indeed had  murdered in that no value had been attached to the welfare and wellbeing of Kogi citizens.

I don't doubt your energy, astuteness capacity and resolve at frontally confronting issues and righting  wrongs and your nerve for success comrade, i wish to advice that  you listen more at this new dawn and be extremely slow to respond.

I wish you every  Godly success on this  job.

My regards to Madam !

INEC HAS SHOWN THE WORLD THAT IT IS COMMITTED TO THE PRINCIPLE OF ONE MAN ONE VOTE

Following the successful completion of the electoral process in the just concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election, we are delightedthat a very transparent and credible process that allowed for the will of the people was instituted by INEC. We congratulate INEC under the working leadership of Prof. Yakubu Mahmoodfor the conduct of a free and fair election and also felicitate with the people of Ekiti state as they saw their will prevail through the majority that carried the day.
The interviews we conducted with some electorates and election observers confirmed that the atmosphere of the Saturday 14thEkiti gubernatorial elections were generally peaceful except in few areas where ballot snatching were recorded. The early deployment of logistics was a top priority as election materials arrived very early and there came a good turnout of voters in spite of the fear which was earlier instigated by politicians.Although our agents confirmed that there was no evidence of rigging, but electorates were induced with money.
What INEC has done is to be open, unbiased, cautious and proactive, thus, the intervention of top officials of INEC in very few places were card readers messed up; the cancellation of areas where ballot boxes were snatched and a quick collation of votes and announcement of the resultSo far so good, we can say that the election result that produced Dr. Kayode Fayemi as the Governor Elect of Ekiti state is a true reflection of the peoples will. Therefore, anyone or group that is not satisfied with the result of the election can approach the court to seek redress.

Recall, that several persons and groups have raised issues that boiled down to the lack of efficiency and question of suspicion and possible connivance between INEC and other entities. Today, the Commission has given us a reason to believe in its efficacy and commitment to the principle of ‘one man one vote’. INEC did it in Ondo state, Edo state, Anambra state and now Ekiti state. We pass a vote of confidence on INEC and also plead with Nigerians from all works of life to key into the vision of an unbiased umpire by supporting all the agenda of INEC towardsthe forthcoming Osun gubernatorial election a fruitful 2019 General Elections.

By: David Alfred-Dogwo / July 12, 2018

LETTER TO BASSA VOTERS

Dear Friends,

I'm writing this letter to you today because I would like to introduce myself . My name is David Alfred-Dogwo and I am running for the office of Kogi State House of Assembly for the forthcoming Primary Election in few days. I decided to seek this office because I realize our wonderful Constituency has come to a critical crossroad.
We have grown considerably these past years, and we have now reached a point where it is time for us to decide as a community what we want to become, where we want to go, and how we want to get there.

Never has it been more important to elect to the State Legislature a person who can represent your voice; someone who will act only in the best interest of the Constituency and it's bright future. I believe I am capable of meeting that challenge and I look forward to the work ahead.

The purpose of this Platform is to give you, the residents of our Constituency, the ability to voice your concerns and thoughts regarding my Intent.

I believe that even as an un-elected official, I have been serving at the will of the citizens. I have made it a goal of my campaign and when elected, to let you know through this message what is going on after each Campaign's meeting in a non-partisan and accessible fashion.

Hopefully I can provide information in as timely a fashion as possible so you can remain informed and make decisions knowing the issues.

My Vision for for you is to build a Constituency of our collective dream for now and indeed for future generation into the graduating class to become not just citizens of this Constituency, but citizen participants. Never has it been more important to heed these words and to that end I hope you will use this process to help me help you.

While I have held no prior elective but political office, I have worked behind the scenes for many years to provide stewardship and protect the interests of Bassa Local Government Area and Kogi State. As a full-time political agent of democracy, I will ease the overcrowding at our daily endervours and will work to find both short and long-term solutions to do just that. With my organising ability and leadership qualities, I want to protect the charm of our land and let Bassa Constituency shine as one of the jewels in the golden necklace that surround us and it's cultural system.

As a former Senior Special Assistant/Spokesman to a serving Executive Governor of this great state in the recent past administration, I have learn the rope of negotiations and penetration strategy to lobby in the corridors of power to unite the people and bring development to our door steps. Also, will enable our Constituency to stand on solid wealth creation and continue to receive it's fair share of state and local aid in order to maintain and update the high level of services our land will provide it's residents.

And since our elders, the teaming youths and the women folk has formed the backbone of our community, I intend to see that they get both the additional space and services they both need and deserve.

I would like to be your voice in the Chamber and I would like to count on your voice and your vote to help me get there.

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I look forward to your comments. Let me know what you think.

Signed:

DAVID ALFRED-DOGWO

KOGI WEST 2019: EX STUDENTS LEADERS GETS INTENT FORM FOR OMOLUABI BODE ADEYEMI (OBA).

As the journey to 2019 general election draws nearer, a team of former students leaders paid a surprise visit to the Kogi West leading senatorial aspirant Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA) and presented him with a PDP senatorial intent form they purchased for him.

This was revealed during a brief  form presentation ceremony done in his office in Abuja on Thursday 13th July 2018.

Speaking on behalf of others present, a former Kogi Students leader in the University of Ibadan, Comr  Otitoleke Richard said they are motivated to take this unprecedented step as a result of Omoluabi's antecedents in student Unionisms, Youth mentorship, Political advocacy and Leadership acumen.

In his words, Otitoleke said, "I have been an ardent follower and fan of Omoluabi in the last two decades and I can unequivocally say that you are a born leader, true democrat and a man with vast legislative experience, given your years of experience in the National Assembly. I am therefore convinced just like my colleagues that you will return good representation to Kogi West and Nigeria, Otitoleke said.

In his response, The obviously non expectant but elated Omoluabi promised not let them down when elected. He said that he is ready to give his all to see that good representation returns to Kogi West. He however assured PDP party faithfuls and other contestants that he will do anything within the legal framework to institutionalize internal democracy in Kogi west and ensure that rule of law and transparency is enthroned in the process of the party primary election as against the rumour of non existent automatic ticket flying around. He also promised to be the face and advocate of youth emancipation and political development in Nigeria.

A video being widely circulated online shows how Kogites in Ekiti booed Governor Bello while addressing party suppoters at the APC mega rally held yesterday.

The Governor currently owing Kogi workers over 2years salaries was visibly ashamed as Kogites were heard shouting “Ole Ole” meaning “Thief Thief”.

While the people were busy shouting “ Yahaya Bello Ole, Yahaya Bello Thief” the Governor got so confused that he started speaking in his native Ebira language confirming the claimed from some quarters that people were been mobilized from other states including Kogi to make up the crowd as majority of people in Ekiti had refused to attend the APC Mega Rally.

Watch video: Here

To show their dissatisfaction with the APC/Fayemi Candidature in Ekiti, members of the Transport Union voluntarily parked all their vehicles at the Government house in Ekiti yesterday to avoid bloodshed and violence which has been the regular trademark of any of the APC rally in the State.

The Saturday Governorship Election will be landslide victory for the ruling PDP, however outgoing Governor Fayose has raised alarm of possible rigging.

Watch out for live updates on Saturday as the people decide.

BUHARI IS VERY VULNERABLE NOW, AND WILL BE DEFEATED BY ANY CANDIDATE.

By Sesere Job Monday

The name Buhari in 2015 epitomized discipline, saint and fear. The very day Baba took the oath of office, all federal civil servants became born again, Abuja reckless drivers turned a new leaf, the contractors with fake company papers quickly scampered for genuine papers, those our friends in black uniform displayed "bail is free" in almost all their formations and  divisions.

Nigerians started obeying body language for the very first time not waiting for their president to speak. "THE FEAR OF BUHARI WAS THE BEGINNING OF OBEDIENCE". Baba's name alone was mysterious and unfathomable. His body language proved disturbing and people were begging to refund stolen  money even without been asked asked to so do.
Boko Haram lost their usual daily intimidating voice and you can hear Nigerians rejoicing and clapping in fictitious fantasy. YES, THAT'S OUR PRESIDENT!

As time went by, His Excellency basked in the euphoria of this infallible and saintlike status and stature. Nigerian media houses began to sing his praise, social media was awash with the accolades of the sinless messiah, AND THE KING SUDDENLY REALIZED HE'S THE ONLY SAINT IN NIGERIA.

Quickly, a wall of protection was built round his Excellency to prevent him from seeing profane politicians like THE LION OF BOURDILON and those who helped him to power. His barometer of judgement changed and His Excellency's eyes were too holy to behold iniquity, Tinubu, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Dino, Saraki, Shehu Sani, Baraje, late Audu Abubakar and a host of others became so fantastically corrupt to be seen with the new KING OF THE JUNGLE.

The party that brought him to power became contemptibly structured that he didn't want to have anything to do with them.
The HOLY and MIGHTY KING distanced self away from his party activities to select National Assembly Leadership. How will these unholy  and corrupt elements  called "APC" be carried along in the selection of ministers and board members? His Excellency echoed  and his decision were unquestionably irrevocable.

Tinubu was dealt with in the South West. All his disloyal boys were exalted and empowered to water down his influence. Those still loyal to the persecuted king of south west politics were sidelined and even outrightly persecuted if need be. Saraki was tagged an armed robber after all attempt to unseat him through assets declaration failed. Senator Dino Melaiye, the APC MC, Shehu Sabi and others  suddenly turned to gun runners. The only time Oyegun enjoyed patronage, was when THE KING wanted to use him against Abiodun Faleke, one of Tinubu's allies. The entire party structure was messed up and destroyed.

Away from the party to governance, Buhari's myopic and sentimental drive was first displayed in his choice of Attorney General and Minister of Justice. Any leader that chose Malami instead of Late Ocholi as Attorney General because of religion should be taken to the hospital to have his brain examine.  I will not like to talk about the structure of our security architecture that gives  undue advantages to  Fulani Marauders.

The fight against corruption was not only a deceptive mantra, but the joke of the millennium. Where are the Grasscutters, the power bike syndicates, the Baru NNPC contract scam, the NIA dollar syndicates, the N87m annual haircut, the billions of dollars petroleum subsidy still ongoing in the NNPC
The emperor's government is not only fantastically corrupt, but ceremoniously deceptive.

Baba has no single reputation any longer before an average Nigerian. Do you want to lie to them about price of PMS or educate them about the high price of foodstuff in the market? An average Nigerian knows that exchange rate of dollar to Naira is no longer N150. Will Baba mount the  podium and tell people of Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Kogi, Zamfara, Southern Kaduna that he will protect them and their properties?

Reputation is the cornerstone of power; once it slips, however, you are vulnerable and will be attacked on all sides. Baba's reputation was destroyed by the infallible status in which he put himself and by the criminal elements that surrounds him as his inner caucus, over which he had little or no control. Another silent issue was the dirty game he played with the IGP during the 2015 general election while the later was commissioner of police in Kano state that made Buhari to be  answerable to the IGP instead of the other way round.

Baba is so vulnerable at this stage that anybody will defeat him without stress.
