WAEC Fees Payment; Hon. Salman Idris commends Governor Ododo for sustaining people-oriented policies.



Member Representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Honourable Salman Idris, has praised Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for fulfilling his campaign promise to pay WAEC fees for public secondary school students.

Governor Ododo approved N600m for 18,734 students, a significant increase from last year's 15,033 beneficiaries. This gesture, in line with the Free Examination Fee Law, has eased the burden on parents and guardians.

Honourable Idris commended Governor Ododo for sustaining people-oriented policies, demonstrating his commitment to education and the welfare of Kogi State citizens. This move has boosted public confidence, encouraging more parents to enroll their wards in public schools.

"Governor Ododo's leadership has shown that campaign promises can be fulfilled," Honourable Idris said. "His dedication to education will positively impact future generations."

The Governor's plan to pay JAMB and NABTEB fees, as well as first school leaving certificates and Basic Education School Certificates, further demonstrates his resolve to make education accessible.

Honourable Idris praised Governor Ododo's vision, saying, "He has won the hearts of Kogi State people by prioritizing their needs."

This development reinforces Governor Ododo's commitment to improving lives and ensuring 100% education completion at the secondary level.

Chief James Faleke Dedicates Heroes award to God Almighty.




Member representing Ikeja federal constituency and Chairman House committee on finance, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has bagged the Heroes Award held at the Transcorp hotel, yesterday in Abuja.

Chief James Faleke, who was among prominent Nigerians that received the 2024 Award from the organizing committee of the Democracy Heroes Awards, dedicated the award to God Almighty.


According to the organizers of the award, the federal lawmaker was given the award in recognition of his courageous actions and exemplary leadership.

He has manifested a life and leadership style that distinguishes him from ordinary citizens or politicians. He has used their public office as a key instrument to better the lives of many.



While receiving the award, Chief James Faleke thanked the organisers for the award, promises continued support, he also declared that the recognition is to the glory of God and therefore dedicates the award to God Almighty.
