Senator Adeola mourns late former Deputy Governor of Lagos State

The Senator representing Lagos West senatorial district Senator Solomon Adeola has expressed great sadness at the demise of Alhaji Rafiu Jafojo the former deputy governor of Lagos State saying that the progressives’ family in Nigeria has lost a consistent progressive and father figure in politics.
Reacting to the death of the former deputy governor of Lagos State under the renowned Alhaji Lateef Jakande, Senator Adeola said he received the news of the demise of the late political leader in his senatorial district with a great sense of irreparable loss at a time the progressives in the South West were re-inventing themselves and forging a new unity to tackle socio economic and political challenges facing the government of the day adding that his wealth of experience would have be helpful in charting the way forward for the progressives in government.
“Lagos State and indeed Nigeria has lost a consistent progressive that contributed immensely to the development of the nation. Alhaji Jafojo was a father and political role model to many and his demise is a great loss to the senatorial district, Lagos State and indeed Nigeria” Senator Adeola said.
The Senator prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and fortitude for the family and other left behind to bear the irreparable loss.
