KOGI WEST 2019: Given your eloquence & Activism, I don't doubt your capacity to represent us... Ohimeghe of Koto tells Omoluabi



The ancient city of Koto Karfi received a huge influx of people across Kogi
West senatorial district even as the entire community came out in their numbers to receive, welcome and celebrate a friend and advocate of the community, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA) on Saturday 23rd September 2017 when he went to the palace of the Ohimeghe of Koto Karfi for royal blessings and endorsement for his senatorial aspiration.

A visibly elated Omoluabi was seen acknowledging greetings and solidarity as he toured round town before moving to the palace of Ohimeghe.
While at the palace Omoluabi praised the administrative, religious and traditional leadership qualities of the Ohimeghe of Koto and described the royal father as a cosmopolitan, honest, sincere, patriotic and loving royal father whose stool also is known and revered across the state and country. He said the people of Koto are wonderful and great people who are responsible and patriotic. He describes the perennial flooding that affects the people yearly as regrettable, devastating, frustrating and obvious failure of successive government at the Federal level, he therefore promised a permanent solution when he is elected.
Omoluabi also assured the people of Koto Karfi that there suppressed state assembly seat would be restored in few months as he has taken the matter to court on behalf of the people. He described the situation that affects Koto Karfi, Kabba/Bunu, Ijumu and Yagba west as the highest form of injustice, Democratic rape and robbery that will be corrected soonest through the court.


While responding, the Ohimeghe of Koto described Omoluabi as eloquent, energetic, resourceful and promising. He therefore assured him of the support of the people of Koto basically because of his efforts to assist the community to get their suppressed constituency restored. He prayed for him and told him that his doors are open to receive Omoluabi anytime he choose to stop by.

Several people of the community also prayed for the man they described as a true political advocate and sincere statesman
