ODA Election: Okun Development Initiative congratulates Barr. Femi Mokikan


Okun Development Initiative(ODI) on Saturday lauded the election of Barrister Femi Mokikan as the President of the Okun socio-cultural group, Okun Development Association(ODA)
The Initiative said the election of Mokikan was not only timely but appropriate, considering his disposition, knowledge and experience.
The ODI, in a statement released in Kabba after the election by its National President, Dcn Otitoju Olusuyi congratulated Mokikan and urged him to bring his wealth of experience both in the public or private sector to bear in moving Okun forward.

The statement said, “ODI is confident that Barr. Mokikan will surely build bridges of understanding, respect and good relations with us for the common good of all in Okun land. 
“ODI has over the years interacted and shared common ideas with ODA on unity, peaceful coexistence and development of our people irrespective of where they reside. ODA under the leadership of Barr. Mokikan should not only sustain this cordial relationship but consolidate it to a greater height. 
I am also happy that I am a member of the newly constituted National Executives, as the Abuja Liason Officer of ODA, there will be proper coordination in the affairs of ODA and a robust relationship with ODI in moving Okun nation to the promise land.

ODI calls upon other socio-cultural organisation to team up and support President Femi Mokikan's effort in bringing the desired development to Okunland.
“We, as vehicles of mobilisation should channel our knowledge, experience and wisdom to positive development that will enhance our people both politically and economically, he concluded.
