8th day Fidau Prayer: House Leader, Faleke, Teejay bids Buba Farewell

HOUSE OF REPs Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, member HoR and former Deputy Governorship candidate to Prince Abubakar Audu, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Teejay Yusuf and other legislators were among those that graced the eighth day fidau prayer of the former deputy majority leader of the House of Representatives, Buba Jibril Yesterday. 
Speaking at the event, the majority leader of the house of representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, said he was saddened by Jubril’s death.


He said, “He was a personal friend, a leader and a colleague, we learnt a lot from each other, we are going to miss him. I am trying to absorb the shock in my system you can see the amazing crowd at the prayer that is a testament to the kind of person he was.”
Gbajabiamila urged politicians to continue to work hard with commitment and live every day as the last day on earth.
Also speaking, Hon. Faleke said he's yet to recover from the shock of Hon. Buba's death. He described the late legislator as someone who controls massive followership due to his good deeds.

"Honorable Buba is a good gentleman who prioritizes the welfare of his constituents over self. His good deeds will never be forgotten and I pray that the Almighty God grant him eternal rest" Faleke said.

Hon. Teejay Yusuf in his words said the House of Representatives will miss Hon. Buba Jibril for his productive ideas and contributions on the floor of the House. 
He is one of the pillars of the current leadership of the house, he has never been found wanting in the discharge of his responsibility as the deputy leader of the House.
Teejay Yusuf who is from the PDP said despite not a member of the ruling party in the house, he enjoy a close relationship with the late legislator and can testify to his good deeds in and out of his constituency. We indeed lost a rare gem.

Also in attendance were Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Governor Idris Wada, former Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Senator Dino Melaye, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, Deputy Governor Simon Achuba and host of other state government officials and dignitaries.
