HALTING NIGERIA POLICE ARROGANT IMPUNITY

Not too long ago the Special Anti-Robbery Squad popular known as SARS came under scathing verbal and written attacks by Nigerians who can no longer stomach the unlawful excesses of the Operatives of this squad.

Several confirmed instances of brazen display of rascality by these men led to the campaign for the squad to be abrogated which ended just another bout of noisemaking.

Unfortunately, many failed to realize what are experiencing is a gradual system failure that portends grave danger to peaceful coexistence. Little thought is ignorant being given to the rot in the entire police force.

In every sane society, no law enforcement agency is given the powers to unlawfully trample on the rights of citizens under any garb.
