Says aspiration represents generational emancipation...
The political tempo across the seven local governments of Kogi West received huge turnaround yesterday as one of the most populous and promising senatorial aspirants picks nomination and expression of interest form of the African Democratic congress. It is no more news that the aspiration of Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi enjoys the support and endorsement of the youths, traditional institution and vast number of the people.
Omoluabi, a former students and youth leader, public affairs analyst, trained investigative journalist and media entrepreneur is coming into the race with sound knowledge of rudiments of parliamentary practices and public policy formulation. He is reputed to be of strong negotiating capacity and good governance advocacy drive.
While speaking to newsmen, Omoluabi describes his aspiration as the popular demand of the people and agenda for setting platform for generational emancipation. "By the grace of God, when I assume office, we will establish a representation framework that will pull down the huge wall between the people and their representative, we will focus our constituency budgets on the collapsed road network in Kogi west, especially Kabba-Egbe road, Kabba- Iyamoye road, perennial flooding disaster in Lokoja and Koto karfi, huge unemployment challenge, declining educational standard and revamping the economy of our rural dwellers" Omoluabi says.
He expressed worry over the criminal neglect of the people of Kogi west by the federal government in terms of providing necessary amenities that makes life easy and promotes the living standards of the people that have given so much to Nigeria
