What Leke Abejide Said After Storming ADC With Mammoth Crowd To Submit His Nomination Forms

Leading Aspirant for Yagba House of Representatives race, Elder Leke Abejide has submitted nomination forms for candidacy race of one of the main opposition party African Democratic Congress, ADC yesterday. 

Leke Abejide wrote on Twitter that he had submitted the House of  Representative nomination and expression of interest forms to the African Democratic Congress(ADC) at the Abuja headquarters of the party.

He said “It is time to bring the needed development and progress to Yagba Federal Constituency. 
As we march forward, join me to change poverty to prosperity, failure to success and stagnation to progress.

Elder Leke Abejide who stormed the party National secretariat with mammoth crowd of supporters from Mopa/Muro, Yagba East and Yagba West Local Government Area of the Federal Constituency was received by the National Secretary of the party, , Alhaji Saheed Aba Abdulahi. 

The National Secretary welcome the Mommoth crowd and assure them of the party full support in the coming 2019 Elections. He urge them to continue to give necessary support to Elder Leke whom he believes has the capacity to turn the fortune of the Federal Constituency around.

Elder Leke Abejide while addressing the press appreciated the National Secretary for the warm reception him and his people received from the party. 

Crowd of supporters came in buses and cars all the way from the three local government areas of Yagba Federal constituency of Kogi State to witness the submission of his nomination forms.

Elder Leke said he left the party APC, went ahead to Yagba Federal Constituency and inaugurated ADC along with all his supporters.
“When we inaugurated ADC in Yagba land, the people generally accepted us and if you go to our Federal Constituency today, you will think the party has existed for more than 10years”

He said the people have tested APC and PDP but they all failed. 

“We thought when APC came they will change for better or even for the best but they are now the worst party ever in Kogi State”

“Our people have been pauperized, our people have become professional beggars, the workers are working as if they are not working. People are dying daily of minor illness. People who have work for over 35years has suddenly become ghost workers”

“That’s why we have come to seek credible alternative in ADC and that more people are still coming to join us here”

He further said he promised in his manifesto that no student will have to pay WAEC fees throughout his term in House of Representatives, the youth will be gainfully employed and the women will be comfortable as they are more closer to his heart, the party will take over Kogi State and Nigeria at last, though it may tarry but surely it will happen, he said. 

He concluded by handing over the nomination forms to the National Secretary.
