KABBA DAY 2018: Obaro Oweyomade 1 to perform first official outing, as Ooni of Ife, Kogi Governor honours the event

As the 2018 Kabba Day celebration gets closer, activities and preparations for the auspicious occassion are on topmost gear even as Globaccom Communications accepts to be the official sponsor of the event.

Kabba Day celebration is the most celebrated cultural event in the month of November, it is one event that brings together Okun sons and daughters from different fields of endeavour to celebrate cultural and traditional riches of Kabba people of Kogi state.

Given the outstanding outing of Kabba Day 2017, the event has won the sponsorship demands of telecommunication giant and Africa's foremost firm, Globaccom Communications. Globaccom has just upgraded the event of Kabba Day celebration into the class A of cultural activities in Nigeria. Kabba Day by this feat has become the most celebrated cultural event in the North Central Nigeria and one of the topmost in Nigeria.

The 2018 Kabba Day celebration will be very unprecedented and colourful as the event will emerge the first official outing of Obaro of Kabba after the successful presentation of staff of office to his Royal Majesty Oba Dele Solomon Owoniyi, Obaro Otitoleke Oweyomade 1 as he will colourfully attend the occassion in his right as the Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council.

According to a release made available to  the press and signed by the Chairman, Publicity Committee and Spokesperson for Kabba Day 2018, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi mnipr, the occassion shall be held on Saturday 3rd November, 2018 at the Kabba Township stadium. He assured the people of Kabba and invited guests of a Kabba Day with a difference in terms of attendance, colourful activities and cultural promotion.

The occassion shall have the Ooni of Ife, Onirisa Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi ll as the grand Royal Father of the day and the Governor of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Bello as the Special guest of honour, the Kabba Day festival August Visitor, Iba Gani Abiodun Adams, Are Ona Kankafo of Yoruba land.

Others expected to grace the occassion are he Royal Guests of the Day are HRM, Michael Idoko Ameh Oboni ll, Attah of Igala, Chairman Kogi State Traditional Council and HRM, Alh Ado Ibrahim, Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Vice  Chairman, Kogi State Trsditional Council.
