A CALL ON KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT TO RESCUE COMRADE KUNLE OLA AND FIANCEE FROM THE DEN OF KIDNAPPERS

I was reliably informed yesterday of the unfortunate abduction of one of our students leaders from Kogi West Comrade Kunle Ola and his fiancee Miss Ayanfe Toluhi while returning from his grandma's burial at Odo-Ere.

Comrade Kunle Ola and fiancé was reportedly kidnapped between Iluhagba and Aiyetoro in Ijumu local government area of kogi state, the sad story of the event is that, while a call was put across to one of his brothers, it was revealed that the abductors suspected to be Fulani men had initially demanded for the ransom of 20m and 10m respectively for both of them to be released.

The fact is, Comrade Kunle Ola is a very known Person for his peaceful conduct and his friendly attitude who love and care for all especially the students. I had watched this same Comrade helping students to pay school fees bill and others. It would be so sad should a man like this be held in a particular place by kidnappers for no just cause.

I am using this moment to as matter of urgency, call on the administrator of Ijumu Local government who double as the Chief security officer of the LG Hon Taofiq Isa to partner with the state government and other relevant agency to aggressively swing into action by rescuing Comrade Kunle Ola and his Fiance Miss Ayanfe Toluhi from the den of Kidnappers.

I also urge the state government to use every power at its disposal to stem the activities of the vicious and notorious kidnappers and further bring them to justice, this will discourage the activities of these deadly kidnappers in the state.

I wish Comrade Kunle Ola and his fiancee God protection till he gain his freedom, nothing shall happen to the son who enjoy the torrent grace of God.

Temibi Samuel is a Son from Ijumu Local Government
