One person reportedly got shot in Ekinrin-Ade by thugs led by APC rulling government officials during the election for state assemblies in Kogi State today.
The election was reportedly marred by harassment of voters by a combined team of fake security personnels, as well as the alleged snatching and diversion of electoral materials by chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Ijumu LGA Administrator.
Similarly, hoodlums led by the same government officials attacked Origa Ward and Aiyegunle Gbede in Ijumu LGA
The hoodlums were said to have invaded the polling unit areas and carted away ballot papers and personal effects of INEC officials.
Also, some political thugs tore electoral materials at Ileteju Ward unit 02 in Ogidi Ijumu, making the residents calling for a rerun.
