APC Primaries: Yahaya Bello's Victory, Best Option For The Party Ahead Of Nov Poll- Dr. Bolufemi

Dr Bolufemi Rotimi an APC stalwart and business mogul, has described the victory of the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, at the primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the best option for the party's victory at the November governorship election.

He said Bello's victory at the primary held in Lokoja, the state capital on Thursday would make it easy for the APC to win the election

Dr.Bolu, while hailing the resounding victory  in a statement, said the governor overwhelming and unprecedented victory had given credence to his exemplary leadership quality.

He said the delegates of the party voted for Bello because of his excellent performance in the last three and half years as the governor of the confluence state.

Dr.Bolu said the governor had excelled in the area of agriculture, security, health and civil service reform, which had put the state in a vantage position for further development.

The business mogul, however lauded the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC for putting in place impartial screening and appeal committees that prepared the stage for the conduct of the primary election.

He also hailed the national leadership of the party for appointing an electoral committee that demonstrated leadership and transparency in the conduct of the primary that has been adjudged as one of the best in the country.

He noted that even those disqualified from the contest still promised to abide by the decision of the party and pledged their loyalty towards the victory of the party at the governorship election.

Dr.Bolu, also hailed the doggedness, commitment and pragmatic contributions of the Chief of Staff (COS) to the governor, chief Edward Onoja, to the victory of the governor.

He said," I however  want to plead with the other contestants to place the interest of the party as number one so that we can come together as one indivisible family for the victory of APC in November.

"I also want to assure the governor  that the Okun nation will overwhelmingly support GYB during the election".

He urge all his supporters to remain in the party and work for its success at the coming November election.

Read statement below:

I, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin RTD, the All Progressive Congress APC, governorship aspirant in Kogi State, wish to state that I and my supporters will abide by the party's NWC decision to uphold the report of the screening and appeal panels.

I wish to Allay fears being entertained in the political circle in Kogi state over the development and wish to categorically reinstate that we shall remain loyal members of the party.

My humblest gratitude and appreciation goes to all my teeming supporters, the RESCUE TEAM across the state ably led by my DG, Engr. George Olumoroti for their show of enduring love and affection throughout our tour, strategic meetings and Consultations across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State.
Kogites have demonstrated that they have an unshakeable belief in the rescue mission of Usman Jibrin, and this I hold close to my heart and will ever remain indelible in my heart.

However, rather than disintegration, we will turn this development to strength with which to lift the banner of our great party to greater heights.

All the aspirants of APC in Kogi State are real men of courage, so, we have seen this large number as a thing of joy that we are likely to slug it out and fight. The truth is that Kogi State parades high-quality gentlemen who are capable of running the state better.

But the point I am making is that I have resolved that my aspiration is not a matter for myself. It is a matter for the party.
The supremacy of the party is not in doubt. In other words, the issue of our state, which is the place of our birth, is also more important to us than our personal interests.
As a result, if the ambition is to serve our people through our party, we must, therefore, resolve to ensure that whatever is the decision of the party becomes supreme.

I urge all to continue to pray for our leaders that God should guide them to be able to harness the resources, the potentials in all of us for the benefits of the state with the ultimate goal of winning the election.

I urge everyone who believed in the APC project to forget whatever happened during and after the gubernatorial aspirants screening, remain calm and work for the success of the party.

I hold all my supporters in high regard and for believing in my principles and vision, as borne out of my love for our people and the development of the state. You have all done so well. And I am sure that your labour of love and patriotism would not go in vain because Kogi will surely be great and match the dreams of our founding fathers.
However, I want to appeal to you to bury all hatchets that happened during the screening. Let us keep this party alive in Kogi State and work together as one by remaining committed and dedicated to its success in the gubernatorial election in November 2019.
I sincerely appeal to my supporters to remain in APC. We are to work for the party and its success at polls. We have a duty to help the Nigerian political process to further evolve. We owe the generations yet unborn a better, progressive and well developed Kogi State.

Thank you all.

Kogi Gov'ship: Usman Jibrin Clearance Unsettles Bello's Camp.

The camp of Governor Bello, this medium gathered, is worried over the former Naval Boss, Usman Jibrin successful clearance by the party  to run for Kogi governorship.

Governor Bello's hope of continuing in office beyond 2019 would be put to test amd dashed just few days to the party APC primaries in the State.

After attempt to to edge out the former Naval Boss, Usman Jibrin hit brick wall, there seem to be cloud of uncertainty in Bello's camp.

Would the ruling Yahaya Bello's camp remain the same with Usman Jibrin clearance? Definitely Not.

Governor Bello said his administration’s record of performance would convince the electorate to vote for him, Has this ever been the case? Can we say the Governor has performed with backlogs of salaries arrears running into years?

On the other hand, the Usman Jibrin Rescue Team is walking the whole hog to ensure the defeat of the incumbent Governor.

Following the decision of members of the Screening committee to finally clear the former Naval boss, the crisis in Bello's camp assumed a new dimension on Tuesday as it was confirmed that plot to substitute delegates list has been revisited for immediate enforcement across all LGAs.

The Governor was said to have told someone who do not want his name mentioned, that he is worried over the humongous amount of Kogi resources he has spent so far only to ensure Usman Jibrin and others were screened out of the race but failed woefully.

Also the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Edward Onoja has reportedly gone spiritual to seek divine support for his boss.

Recalled that a pastor from Olamaboro LGA of the state, during one of the Church conference had openly confronted the Chief of Staff over a divine prophecy that himself and Governor Bello will not return to lugard house.

Edward Onoja have finally resorted into doing everything spiritually possible to upturn the prophecy foretold by the powerful man of God.

The chief of staff, obviously infuriated earlier today instructed all LGAs administrators to convey all their delegates down to Lokoja by 10am tommorow or be dealt with.

Director General, Usman Jibrin Campaign Organisation, George Olumoroti earlier said Kogites should be reminded that this government has nothing to offer and our party members (APC) have now realized the truth in what we have been saying that the Yahaya Bello-led government has nothing to offer Kogites and democracy.

He also said any attempt to change or Substitute names of delegates will only be an exercise in futility as the certified true copies of delegates list with INEC is in his possession.

Usman Jibrin, others cleared, Confused Bello Now enforcing Substitution Of Delegates List.

It has been uncover that after the failed attempt by Kogi State APC Screening Commitee to unlawfully disqualify majority of the gubernatorial aspirants, Governor Bello have now resorted to a new strategy ahead of the party primaries on Thursday.

The plot is to effect replacement of party delegates with those who have been bought over by the Governor.

Consequent upon this, the appeal Committee have reversed the screening report on disqualification of the aspirants, Usman Jibrin and 11 others have now been cleared.

The Usman Jibrin
organizarion described the conduct of the screening as an abuse of constitution of the party.

The rumour of their disqualification was recieved on social media paltform Monday morning, the disqualification was aimed to edge some aspirants out of the APC governorship primaries.

The announcement had said that they were not cleared by the commitee, rumour of the disqualification had caused confusion and apathy amongst their supporters across the 21 LGAs in the state.

“Up till now, our aspirant is yet to receive any communication from APC screening commitee about non-clearance for governorship race.

We know it is the hand work of Jibrin Usman political detractors within and outside the party. We are also aware that this development maybe in connection with the scheme by some elements trying to impose a candidate on the party for their selfish interest. This is unacceptable to us in the party, we are se to protest the injustice and possibly take the matter to court.

Usman Jibrin Disqualification Flawed and Unsubstantiated- DG, Campaign Organisation.

The Director General, Usman Jibrin Campaign Organisation, Engr. George Olumoroti has assure teeming supporters of the former Naval Boss in Kogi State that Usman Jibrin will participate in the 29th August primary election of the party, while he described the outlined reasons for disqualifying the leading aspirant as spurious, illegal and Unsubstantiated, he said every legal means will be taken to address the injustice done.

He appreciated and thanked Kogites for the show of love and support over the past few months.

" Dear delegates, excos, party leaders and stakeholders. On behalf of the Usman Jibrin Campaign Organisation, our principal and the team deeply appreciate your uncommon support, encouragement and loyalty since the unofficial publication of the Senator Hope Uzodima led screening committee report which hitherto claimed to have disqualified our principal amongst others based on spurious and unsubstantiated allegations.

Our principal and the team have submitted a petition to the National secretariat of our great party with copy to the National leaders disputing the claims; as law abiding citizens and loyal party faithful we remain committed to the terms and conditions in our party constitution and will explore all legal means to ensure fairness and justice is done, and our principal cleared to participate in the primaries.

I therefore, appeal to our teaming supporters across the state to remain calm and law abiding as we are confident that we will not only participate in the primaries, our principal will win and become the candidate of the party at the next governorship election in Kogi state. I appeal to you all to remain focused on the objective of making our principal win the forthcoming primaries and eventually become the next governor of Kogi state.

APC in a Quandary over Kogi’s Bello

GOVERNOR Yahaya Bello of Kogi State is widely regarded as the most inept governor in the country, barring perhaps the stiff competition former Zamfara State governor, Abdulaziz Yari, gave him in the past two or three years. But since the exit of his competitor after a most uninspiring rule, Mr Bello has become incomparable. He is widely regarded as youthful, a claim now being put to the test by his detractors who insist he is in fact older than he looks and claims. Having punished Kogi for about four years with nothing really to show for his governorship other than that he wasted the state’s time and resources, he has shockingly indicated a desire to fight for re-election on the assumption that his first term could be attributed to his electoral effort.

For a man eager to get a second term, and having sadly neither worked for it nor earned it, it is passing strange that he is going about it the wrongest way. He has still not cleared the salary backlog of civil servants, other than make highly publicised token gestures, and he has neither courted nor befriended state workers and other Kogites whom he has oppressed and scandalised. Yet he has presented himself to be canonised by his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to seek a second term in November. He seems to think that since his party initiated the ugly and reprehensible conspiracy to foist him on the state some four years ago, it should be wiling again to get him into office by hook or crook. It is not clear how they would do it, or whether they are even willing to affront all civilised values to sanction his participation.

But whether the APC allows itself the humiliation of embracing Mr Bello’s ambition or not, it beggars belief that the governor sees the brutalisation of the state as the surest way to make an unforgettable impression on the electorate. He has thrown his hat into the ring. It should have been immediately and forcefully picked up and hurled at him. There are many reasons to do this beyond his scandalous management of the state’s financial and human resources, beyond his deliberate refusal to pay civil servants their salaries. He hopes to contest the governorship three months from now, but he has done nothing of significance to justify even one vote, indeed, no reason at all to endear him to the electorate. He has fought everyone, some of them the state’s leading social, political and judicial elite, and befriended no one, no matter how insignificant, including unknown and uncelebrated lawmakers.

Two of his enemies stand out, two gentlemen who had nothing against him starting out, and who even actually befriended him and helped pave the way for him to be accepted and crowned. The Chief Judge of the state, Nasir Ajanah, an Ebira like him, stands out. For elementary reasons, including refusing to subordinate the judiciary to the executive branch, Mr Bello singled out Justice Ajanah for excoriation and intimidation. Adopting the reprehensible style by which former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen, was unceremoniously shoved out of office, using a combination of propaganda and judicial heresy, Mr Bello had hoped to quickly get rid of the chief judge in favour of his Man Friday. He cajoled the mannequins at the Kogi House of Assembly to initiate impeachment process, and hoped that his intimidatory tactics would persuade the public and help galvanise the state judiciary to endorse his wish.

Not only did the judiciary stand pat and courageously resisted his bullying tactics, judicial workers also lined up behind their embattled chief judge. Consequently, the legislature’s floundering plot to unseat Justice Ajanah failed miserably, embers of the conflict nevertheless still flickering. Judicial workers union, Kogi branch, was shocked to see that the top wigs of the judiciary in Abuja were ambivalent towards a chief judge they had a duty to protect against the infamous executive putsch hatched by an irresponsible politician.

Since he lacked policies and programmes, Mr Bello seemed to have nothing else to do than engage in verbal and judicial brawls with officials and politicians he has had no reason to fight. His other prominent enemy, who started out as a loyal party member, is the deputy governor, Simon Achuba. Mr Achuba was not as discriminating as Abiodun Faleke, the late Prince Abubakar Audu’s running mate who should have constitutionally inherited the governorship mantle when the APC candidate slumped and died in 2015 after the governorship election had been fought and won. Mr Faleke, angry because of the injustice perpetrated by his own party against him, spurned the indignity of being asked to be the automatic running mate of the inexperienced and untested Mr Bello. But Mr Achuba rushed in where angels feared to tread, and only months later became public enemy number one of the cantankerous governor. All manner of intimidatory tactics have been brought to bear on the deputy governor in order to force him to quit. And yet he was no radical, nor even a querulous politician. Sadly both the legislature and the judiciary have signed on to the Bello rigmarole designed to force Mr Achuba out. The conspirators may succeed because there are really not many people left with any spine in the state.

Mr Bello is sustained in office by his supporters and mentors in Abuja. The support is so wide-ranging and so massive that he does not feel burdened by the dictates of conscience to act responsibly in office. He hopes their support will get him the ticket, assuming the APC at the national level caves in to injustice. More, he hopes that once he gets the ticket to run for re-election, he would use all manner of state coercive machineries — all of them without exception — to win the November poll and coax a pliant judiciary to endorse the repugnant outcome. These are the reasons Mr Bello is fighting everybody, exempting no one, a few months to a decisive election that could finally ruin the state. He has made no friends, and is not encumbered to make any. He has enacted no great policy and built no significant structure, because he has by his obnoxious habit formed the opinion that his powerful political and judicial friends in Abuja have his back.

If Mr Bello surmounts the controversy swirling around his real age, and manages to extricate himself from the double registration trap INEC has woven around his neck, he may indeed get the ticket. APC under its staid former national chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, could not absolve itself of blame for enthroning an undeserving and incompetent politician. It remains to be seen whether the current party chairman, the pugnacious Adams Oshiomhole, can withstand the wiles and savagery of Abuja to dethrone Mr Bello. The obstacle is not one of ethics, it is one of courage. Indeed, everyone knows the right thing to do in Kogi. The problem is to find those to do it. It will take a truly herculean effort by Mr Oshiomhole not to disappoint himself and Kogites, for Mr Bello could not conceivably win a free and fair election in a state he has loathsomely brutalised and bastardised.

Okun Political Summit: Renegotiating Okun interest for 2019

Date: 19th October 2019

Venue : Olonijola Events Hall, Kabba

Okun Political Summit 2019 is put together to create a platform, avenue and opportunity for the people of Okunland in the six Local Government areas of Kogi to review their political history, access their present political attainment/challenges and discuss a way forward to realizing their aims and desires as a people.

The event of the last six decades requires that the people of Okunland need an urgent political confab that will elicit opportunities for robust introspect, genuine soul, searching, sincere fence mending and a workable united front for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi state.

It is not news, neither is it misplaced to say that the commonest and topmost on the agenda of our people is the quest for a Kogi Governor of Okun extraction, this is more resounding in the minds of the people in view of their search for infrastructural, social, economic and political development, the intensity of their quest is driven by the fact that holding such a plum position will confer far-reaching opportunities and pace for achieving all of the desires.

It is therefore important that a collective approach is applied to making the dream a reality. The unfortunate snag, however, has been the individualistic approach that has been applied in the past, the reality of the day, however, suggests a more united and communal approach to this.

The November 2019 gubernatorial election has indeed presented itself as a golden opportunity to experiment this much touted desire. It is in the reality of this that we call for the 1st Okun political summit. A gathering of former and serving elected political office holders from Okunland, former and serving appointed political office holders from Okunland, former and serving party elected officials from Okunland, all former elected candidates of political parties for political office contest, traditional rulers from Okunland, religious leaders from Okunland, women and youth leaders.
Aims And Objectives

To unite Okunland people toward a common political agenda
To promote the development of Okunland through virile political leadership
To work assiduously for the political, social and economic emancipation of Okun people

Gov polls: Oshiomhole inaugurates screening committees for Kogi, Bayelsa

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Committee, Adams Oshiomhole, said the party had become wiser from courts judgements which disqualified its candidates for ineligibility in the past.

He said the party would guide against fielding candidates with questionable dates of birth, educational qualifications and various errors which the opposition party could latch on to snatch victory after losing at the polls.

Specifically, he cited the case of Taraba State where the Supreme Court disqualified its governorship candidate after participating in all stages of the election.

Oshiomhole spoke during the inauguration of the Governorship Screening Committees for APC aspirants for the August 29 Kogi and Bayelsa States primary elections.

Senator Hope Uzodinma is heading the Kogi State screening committee while Senator Abdullahi Gumel is heading that of Bayelsa State’s.

Oshiomhole said, “Many put it that screening is a formality but because of our own peculiarity, people are sometimes economical with the truth. We need to do proper screening and ensure that those who pass the screening are likely to be able to stand not only winning election but of not being challenged after.

“We have a couple of cases where people claimed what they didn’t have or they swore to that affidavit such that they have two, three ages depending on what purpose they are swearing affidavit for.

“We have a recent case in Taraba where our governorship candidate who went through the entire election process, his candidature was nullified by the Supreme Court on account of falsification of age. So, if we thought before that screening is a formality, we have seen that we are not meticulous.”

Oshiomhole urged the committees to observe contradiction in aspirants claims and examine issues raised against them without sentiment or partiality.

Lecture delivered on the occasion of Okun Youth Summit 2019 by Omoluabi

Factors needed to mitigate the impact of Money in politics on youth participation

By
 Hon. Omoluabi Bode-Adeyemi

Introduction
Good evening great Okun youths, I feel highly exhilarated and honored to be with us today and to share thoughts on a very significant and important topic that has a lot of impact on our politics. I hope my contribution will assist us to promote and engender youth participation in our political activities
I'm Omoluabi Bode-Adeyemi, a media entrepreneur, civil rights activist, public opinion analyst and active politician  I'm from Kabba and currently live in Abuja.

Youth is a word that has been described, used and applied differently in different places for different purposes. But until we define or understand who a youth is, we may not be able to achieve a lot in redefining a political agenda for demographic group.
Nigeria National Youth development policy as encapsulated and represented in the National Youth Service scheme is any Nigerian in adulthood below the age of 30,Africa Union declaration on Youth has same 35 as the departure age from the youth constituency.
It is important to say that no know international or nationally recognized institution has given a different definition that is above 40, therefore it is safe to simply define a youth as anyone between the age bracket of 18 and 40.

As a young man in search of identity for the youth, particularly when I ran for office of the National Youth Leader of PDP in 2012, I was the only one out of the 11 aspirants who was below 40, the party at the end of the day gave it to a man who was almost 60,as an upwardly mobile youth, I received the decision as a slap on my generation and a headed to court.
The litigation I can say very confidently was the first ever attempt to seek judicial interpretation on who a youth is. Justin Peter Kekemeke at last was courageous enough to deliver a judgment that is now a reference on the age definition of a youth who agreed with my position that a youth is anyone above 18 and below 40.

I'm glad to say that the litigation assisted PDP to produce the first young man as a national youth leader, which is today being copied by other parties.

Talking about the role of money in youth participation in politics and how to mitigate the effect, I believe it is right to situate the entirety of the discussion on the Nigeria situation.
The impact of money in politics generally is what cuts across all age bracket and not limited to the young people alone but for the purpose of this discussion, I will address it as it concerns the youth.
Since the beginning of the 4th republic, Nigerian politics has been unusually characterized with influence or introduction of money which has had a huge negative effect on national development. The situation over the years has grown worse and has emerged as the strongest bane of national development. This dangerous trend has undoubtedly eroded ideology from politics and has created a monster which hinder progress and holds the youth down.
This trend which has created wrong political orientation and hampered the emergence of competence in leadership and governance.
Money politics has now become the only process through which leaders are selected or elected and any nation that finds herself in such avoidable quagmire will obviously be heralded by underdevelopment, poverty and insecurity.
Young persons most especially have as a result of this wrong orientation have now identified wrong objectives and expectations for political participation.
As a young man who is just coming out of election, I can confirm that until urgent steps are taken, it might be a mirage for a youth without rich background to get to position of authority except and unless such a young person has backing of political leaders whose bidding he will go to do if elected.
Unfortunately Okun youths just like their counterparts in other parts of the country appears to have now completely abandoned attempts to lead but have uncontrollably embraced the money induced politics.
Young persons have now seen politics as avenue for money making, they do not believe in ideology or competence any longer, they do not believe in their fellow young persons any longer and worst of it is that, young people, no matter how brilliant do not struggle to succeed through any other means apart from politics.
Speaking from a practical point of view, the last general election further opened my mind and understanding about how deepening the challenges are, most especially as a young man who pioneered youth development associations and students groups, I was shocked to note that most of the young persons that grew through this process didn't see the need to support one of theirs but preferred to go with money bags who obviously will dump them after election just because of money they even don't get to make at the end of the day.
This trait obviously poses great danger to our political development.
The truth however is that most of these young people don't even understand the effects of their actions.
This acts obviously discourages youths from venturing into politics and the Older generation perfectly understands this challenge and they continue to exploit the youth along this line of thoughts, they induce them with money and take them away from place of decision making to thuggery and violence.
Every successive government in Kogi safe for the incumbent have realized this and capitalized on same to divide the most populated age bracket.
Statistics shows that less than 10 % of youths who seeks political elections finally through and 90% of that percentage are children of the rich
This mistake has now completely debased ideology, competence and service, but elevated mediocrity, violence and primordial sentiments.
After I've briefly given background of the effects and causes of the money politics among young people, I like to say that urgent steps are needed to reverse the trend, correct the errors and take actions for a better tomorrow.
I believe the first mitigating measure to this crisis is for the youth to come to level of awareness first.
If we don't know or agree that we have failed, it may be difficult to find solutions
If we don't first agree and understand that we are on wrong lane, we will not be able to retrace our steps.
Until the prodigal son in the Bible realized he has missed his way, he was living a life of a slave, even a son of a wealthy man. Until he agreed and resolved for a change of status, he was living and eating among pigs, that is how low ignorance took him to.
But upon realizing, he said and I will return to my father and and I will say father I am not worthy to be called a son but just take me as one of your slaves, but because he was born a hero, his awareness took him back to his position and everything changed for him. That is power of self realization and awareness.
Hence, the youth must first be aware and agree that we have had it wrong, then unite for a change.
But just like the Bible says that can people be aware of the good news if there are no teachers to teach, can they change if they didn't hear the word?

It therefore mean that we must as upwardly mobile youths make deliberate actions to educate or inform our generation.
Fate has conferred a generational assignment of emancipating and liberating our generation through information and needed awareness
So, we must first come to terms with the reality of our challenges
Then be ready to offer self for the emancipation and liberation agenda
I can boldly say that my resolve to run for Senate in 2019 was first to emancipate my generation, do wake the sleeping giant in the youth, to challenge them to healthy political competition and set agenda for our take over of the political space
That is why I didn't feel betrayed or abandoned by my generation because I was aware in the first place and since the ambition was for a modeling agent.
After the awareness, youths must be made to understand that until they have a second address (personal business or income sources) it will be difficult for liberation to happen, just as it will be difficult to reject monetary inducement.
When all a young man does is politics, his character, loyalty and sincerity may be threatened because politics will become his/her source, when this happens, your loyalty and alignment will always be to the source of money and not ideology or well mapped political interest.
When this is taken, youths must build for themselves a strong institution they will be loyal to, then mobilize themselves and set political, social and economic ideology for the society and themselves.
Until young people harness their strength, unite for a course and collectively pursue same, it may be difficult to emancipate, and the Older generation will continue to Perpetuate themselves in power.

With the few thoughts here, I feel it would be wise to suggest that I dwell on the rest issues from the questions that will be raised, so as to be able to achieve on our essence for this interaction, I so suggest, as I await our opinions and decision on this.

Kogi Guber: APC Excos, Mamoth Crowd In Olamaboro Receives Usman Jibrin With Funfair, Insist Bello Must Go.

....AS ADMIRAL USMAN JIBRIN RTD SAYS OUR GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT FOR KOGI YOUTHS NOT GUNS.

By Musa Bakare and Juwon Adibabi

There was wild Jubilation yesterday in Okpo, Olamaboro LGA as Admiral Usman Jibrin and entourage stormed Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State ahead of the party guber primary election.

Despite arriving late in the dark, the crowd who trooped out in large numbers to welcome the former Naval boss were chanting "Bello Must Go", this is unexpected because the Chief of Staff to the current Governor Bello, Edward Onoja is from the Local government.

Admiral Usman who was visibly happy with the warm reception from the people lamented profusely the unacceptable and unprecedented high level of unemployment among the youths of Kogi state, stating it has been the major reason for their susceptibility and available material for all forms of vices by politicians in Kogi State

Speaking at the Palace of Ejeh of Olamaboro HRH Simeon sani Ujah at Okpo, headquarters of Olamaboro LGA of kogi state, Admiral Usman pointed out that Kogi state is in a most difficult time, very overwhelming situation especially in the last three years.

The state is on a very dark lane as a result of  failed leadership, affecting mostly our youths very negatively

The state is in siege and held hostage, poverty is at an unbearable level stating that he is fully ready to send Yahaya Bello out of Lugard house to rescue the situation.

Kogi people must urgently be offered  credible leadership that will unite every tribe and differences in Kogi state

Reasonable Governments all over the world ensures that the youths are provided with opportunity for future aspirations and not handed guns to kill and murder innocent and unprotected people.

He promised to provide opportunity for very gainful employment for youth not guns

He pointed out that he is in the race on a rescue mission. He told the royal father that for one year and six months as Chief of Naval staff of Nigeria, without access to Kogi people money, he worked his best for kogi state.

Admiral Jibrin told the royal father that Edward Onoja as a son of Olamaboro should as a matter of urgency commence making his impacts felt in this Local Government to better the lives of  his people before they hand over the reign of leadership to him

He advised Edward Onoja to commit his principal, Governor Yahaya Bello into embarking on important projects and programs in Olamaboro local government that will commit him to inherit and complete when he assume office.

In his response the  Royal father pointed out that Admiral Usman Jibrin is in number one position in the first eleven of Igala nation

He said as royal fathers they are not politician but they must at all times deliberate and take a positive position on sensitive issues affecting the lives of their subjects

It must be an unpardonable mistake for anyone to attempt an attack on a Navy general and advised all to embrace peace as we prepare for election.

The royal father hinted that If he is a position to give governorship position, he will unequivocally dip his hand in pocket and hand it over to Usman Jibrin.

After paying homage to the monarch at the palace, Admiral Jibrin met with Olamaboro Local Government APC Executives at the party secretariat where he urge the party delegates not to be afraid of voting out bad leadership in the State. He said the party excos may be those that will decide for all APC members across the state in the coming days and beseech them all to join the rescue team in repositioning Kogi State to an enviable height among other states in the country.

In a brief remark, the spokesman of the party excos appreciated the efforts of Usman Jibrin in making visible impact and Indelible mark in Igala Kingdom as Naval Chief.

" We can see the Naval institutions and establishments you have brought to our land even without being in power, we believe you will do more when giving the opportunity, we shall put our house together and give you our maximum support" he said.
