Jibrin is one of the many Aspirants jostling for the APC governorship ticket in the upcoming November guber poll.
The monarchs prayed for Jibrin's victory when the aspirant, alongside the leadership, members and supporters of his party, visited their palace on Thursday to formally inform them of his mission to govern Kogi State.
The monarchs said Jibrin is an intelligent and upright man who had excelled in his areas of endeavour.
They expressed the hope that the aspirant would become their “chief tenant’’ after the polls and prayed the “gods of the land’’ to direct his footsteps in the course of working for his ambition.

“He also brought innovations to the Navy while he served as Chief; doesn’t such a man have the capacity to make Kogi work better?
“I pray that it shall be well with you and as you come to honour me as the traditional ruler of Dekina, you shall succeed
You will not stumble on this your journey to Kogi Government House,’’ he said.
In his remark, Jibrin promised to make Kogi an all-inclusive development-driven state with full salary and pension payment, good planning and technology.
The former Naval Chief said he was at the monarch’s palace in recognition of his father figure not just in Dekina but to him personally and to unveil his plans to transform the State.
After meeting with the monarch, Usman Jibrin also had several meetings with the Party APC local government executives in preparation for the August 29 primary election in the state.
