Vice Admiral , Usman Jibrin , on Wednesday , 14th August , 2019 , was received admist pomp and peagantry at Idah , during his visit to the ancient town in continuation of his tour across Kogi State .
The ancient town was agog as the Vice Admiral (Rtd) visited the Palace of Attah of Igala where he addressed the Monarch and other traditional Chiefs . It was a lock down as both vehicular and human movement was halted for over two hours .
HRM Dr Michael Ameh Oboni appreciated Usman Jibrin for visiting the town . The Attah who spoke in Igala dialect assured the Vice Admiral of the support of the people of Idah and the entire state .
Usman Jibrin said the coming election is for the progress of the entire state .
He said " Where we are today , we need a truthful person to progress our state . Kogi is blessed , but there is too much corruption and that's why we must choose truthful leader . "
At the palace where HRM Dr Michael Ameh Oboni addressed a mammoth crowd who filled the expansive Hall of the palace , Idah , he reeled out the achievements of the administration of Vice Admira (Rtd)l , Usman Jibrin .
He explained that he will do more in term of infrastructural developmental and Social Intervention Program if elected as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State .
The Attah of Igala , HRM Dr Michael Ameh Oboni thanked Usman Jibrin for his visit.
