CP IDOWU OWOHUNWA'S PROMOTION; YET, ANOTHER FEATHER TO HIS CAP!

With profound gratitude to God Almighty, permit me to use this medium to on behalf of the good people of Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency congratulate our very dear brother and friend; Idowu Owohunwa, on his well deserved promotion to the rank of a Commissioner of Police, CP, by the Police Service Commission, as recommended by the Inspector General of Police.

Indeed, having followed, with keen interest, your steady rise in the Nigerian Police Force, one can confidently state that your elevation to this distinguished class and status in the NPF is not only timely but honour most deserving.

Over the years, at every command appointment and  operational posting within the NPF, you always display uncommon fervour, unusual commitment and unfeigned passion in the realization of set objectives and the institutional vision of the NPF. One is particularly happy that in recognition of  your intellectual fecundity, professional dexterity and organisational capacities, you served two Inspector General of Police as the Principal Staff Officer. By this rare and enviable feat, you emerged as the first person to have served as the PSO to two separate IGPs.

Indeed, this professional lift is a worthy recognition and institutional endorsement of your continued service to the NPF and our dear country. Happily, by this elevation to the exclusive class of CP, you have, arguably, emerged as the most senior officer in the NPF from Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency.

As I join numerous others of your colleagues, associates, friends and most importantly your family members to savour the joy, blessings and euphoria of this career progression, it is my earnest prayers that the Lord Jesus Christ shall accelerate your eventual promotion to the zenith of your career; emerging the Inspector General of Police. 

Finally, I pray that the Lord will grant unto you divine grace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, good health, long life and renewed strength for outstanding achievements and landmark breakthroughs in your new rank, position and office, Amen.
