Hon. Leke Abejide, HOR member and Chairman House Committee on Customs, has announced his intention to contest the gubernatorial election of Kogi State under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC)
He spoke on Thursday through his media aide that he will be purchasing the guber nomination of interest forms on Monday at the National Secretariat of the Party in Abuja.
The development comes after months of calls from different quarters for the rep member who just won his reelection for a second term to contest the Kogi governorship.
Through his aide, Leke said his decision was in answer to the people’s call on him to contest in the governorship election after wide consultations with relevant stakeholders in the party and the state.
