Rt.Hon. Leke Abejide Paid Last Respect To Late Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, Father of Gov. Usman Ododo

Hon. Leke Abejide, member of the House of Representatives Yagba Federal Constituency, on Tuesday visited Okene, Governor Ododo's home country, to commiserate with him on the loss of his father, who died at 83.

The condolence visit was preceded by the Hon. Abejide’s visit while he joined in the fidau prayer for the repose of the soul of Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, the father of the Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo was held at Okene central mosque.

According to the lawmaker, Alhaji Momohsani has lived a fulfilled life filled with legacies, he also ate the fruit of his labour while he was alive, though the people who had encountered him will always remember what he lived for during his life. He left at a ripe age and we appreciate Almighty Allah that through the great man, he gave us a good man as the number one citizen of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo; that is why I am here to mourn with His Excellency and also celebrate a life well spent, especially because it is not the father that is burying his son.

I commiserate with His Excellency, his family, and the entire people of Okene, and Kogi state on the irreplaceable loss of Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, may Almighty grant his soul eternal rest in the great beyond, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him Al-jannah Firdaus.
