Faleke Launches Empowerment Programme, Sanwo-Olu Backs Initiative


James Faleke has launched an empowerment programme aimed at improving the livelihoods of residents in Ikeja Federal Constituency, with Babajide Sanwo-Olu in attendance to show support.

The initiative focuses on providing practical tools, resources, and opportunities to help individuals and small business owners achieve economic growth and self-reliance. Speaking at the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that empowerment programmes remain a vital pathway to sustainable development, as they directly impact people’s ability to thrive.


Hon. Faleke noted that the programme was designed to uplift constituents and expand access to opportunities, adding that investing in people is key to building stronger communities.

Attendees described the initiative as a significant step toward inclusive development, highlighting the importance of continued empowerment efforts in creating lasting progress for Lagos residents.

* 300 Fishing bowls with feeds and fingerlings

* 100 Popcorn machines with bags of corn

* 400 Deep freezers

* 200 Generators

* 260 Grinding machines

* 50 Electric cake mixers

* 50 Electric juicers

* 100 Electric grilling machines

* 100 Mechanical tool kits

* 100 Hairdressing equipment sets

* 300 Industrial machines
