(EXCLUSIVE) Kogi Guber 2019: Crisis Rocks Audu’s Family over sale of Mediterranean Hotel to fund Mohammed’s Gubernatorial Campaigns

The family of late Prince Abubakar Audu has been enmeshed in a lingering crisis over the sale of mediterranean Hotel owned by the late former Governor.

The first son of the deceased, Mohammed Audu had sold the property to fund his 2019 Gubernatorial campaigns and consultations ahead of the All Progressive Congress, APC primaries.

It has been alleged that the first son sold off the luxurious Mediterranean hotel in Abuja at the cost of N1.7billion out of  desperation to become the next governor of Kogi State come November 2019.

This development was said to have angered his younger brother Mona Mustapha Audu who is also in the race to become the State Governor.

Mona relationship with his brother Mohammed had turned sour over the sale of the properties which Mona claimed was sold without his knowledge or due consultation with him and other members of the family.

The two brothers are now living like cat and rat.

The family crisis have been lingering and festering for months as family members has done everything possible to keep it away from public domain.

Inside source also revealed that efforts and attempts made by their sister, Eke Audu to settle the lingering crisis has been futile as both brothers kept threatening to outdo each other over the remaining properties of their deceased father, Prince Abubakar Audu.

This development has generated a lot of dissension among Kogites that Mohammed Audu who wants to become Governor at all cost and could be so desperate to sell off the said property at the expense of his family will run Kogi State treasury aground if giving the opportunity to become Governor as his first task will be to recuperate the large resources expended which will be to the detriment of Kogi People’s welfare who are already yearning for good governance under the misrule and bad direction government of Yahaya Bello.

More details soon.
