CONFERMENT OF CHIEFTAINCY TITLE AS ASIWAJU OF ALU ON HON. LEKE ABEJIDE, A WELL DESERVED HONOUR.

The Honorable Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency was  honoured in his community with a chieftaincy title as the "ASIWAJU OF ALU" alongside with the Coronation of the Alalu Of Alu HRH, Oba Togun Oladele (Osanipin II) of Alu land.

The Governor, His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello who was ably present, with him was the Secretary to the State Government Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, Commissioner for Finance Hon. Asiwaju Idris Asiru were also present with other government officials.

The People of Alu during the conference of Hon. Leke Abejide as the ASIWAJU OF ALU LAND felicitate with him on his celebration, they also thank him for bringing development to Yagba Land.

the Governor of Jigawa state His Excellency Gov.Mohhamed Badaru Abubarkar who was also present at the occasion said, Hon. Asiwaju Leke Abejide is a very good man who is loved by his people. He said, "Leke is a man of the people".

According to him, the conferment of the prestigious title as the Asiwaju Of Alu will spur the Honorable Member to render more selfless services to the good people of his constituency.

His Excellency, Alhaji Yahya Adoza Bello described Hon. Leke Abejide as a man who has won the heart of many people with his leadership style. He also promised to promote education in the State and Yagba.

The People of Yagba described him as a leader who is interested in development and growth.

Hon. Asiwaju Leke Abejide, express his profound gratitude to his people for finding him worthy to be the "Asiwaju" of Alu. He retreat his commitment towards promoting the peace and credibility of his people through the mantle of leadership that is bestowed on him.
