Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on rural networking, Hon. Haruna Mamudu Eboh escaped death as political thugs gave him beating of his life at Olowa, Dekina on Sunday.
According to an eye-witness, Omojo Idoko, was invited for All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress at Olowa by a chieftain of the party, Hajia Babi Okwute.
He said the thugs led by Tairu Momoh Agada and Ojode Balawo Ajatama were sponsored by political opponents of Eboh. He expressed fears that the attack may affect the fortunes of the party in Ogbabede ward in the forthcoming elections.
“The attack on the SA to the Governor on Rural Networking and divisional secretary of APC Dekina, Hon. Haruna Mamudu Eboh at Olowa portends danger for the success of APC in the ward in all elections. Hon. Haruna Mamudu is from Ajita Ogbabede in Dekina LGA, he was invited for APC Ward congress at Olowa orchestrated by devilish chieftain, Hajiya Babi Okwute.
“The hired political thugs are; Tairu Momoh Ojo Agada, Ojode Balawo Ajatama and their collaborators. With this development APC Ogbabede ward is in disarray. Kogi state APC should please take note of this ugly incidence,” he said.
