The 90 lock-Up shops were reportedly built by the honorable member and located at the community market square will be the first ever commercial edifice in the ancient community.
The lock-Up shops which were constructed within a month is in fulfilment of the promise made to the people during one of the honorable solidarity visit to the community last year December.
During the last year Christmas visit, the Community Royal fathers and market women were reportedly quoted as saying that ever since the community came into existence, all commercial activities of buying and selling had always been by the road side and therefore requested that Hon. Faleke put in a place a befitting market stalls for them.
In response to the request, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke promised to embark on the project by January this year.
The project was completed several weeks back and is now ready for commissioning by the honorable.
The newly built 90 lock-Up shops will serve to ease the day to day commercial activities of the community inhabitants and as well give the community a facelift.
The market women and business men can now have a sigh of relief as the lock-Up shops will bring in more marketers which will in turn have a positive economic impact on the community.
To the people of Ayede Community, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke is a man of his words.
