Adeleye while speaking with news men today at his Kabba residence said that there was no primary election in Kabba-bunu/ Ijumu federal constituency as he claimed that hudlums invaded the venue of the said primary election at about 2:15 am last night and the team that was to conduct the election returned back to lokoja with the hope of returning this morning to conduct the primary but to our shock, it was everywhere in the news that Hon. T. J Yusuf was declared the winner of the primary.
"Sincerely I love my party, the People's Democratic Party, but with this act it is crystal clear that my party hates me. I have contributed to the sustenance of the party as well as the constituency in the past years and do not expect the kind of treatment and embarrassment that the part brought upon us and our supporters.
"It is also clear that the incumbent is not popular amongst the electorates, lest he wouldn't have gone out with this in-honourable act and supported by the leadership of the party" he said.
He however reenact his determination to continue to support only those things that will promote unity in the party as well as working for the success of the party.
He also charge his supporters to remain calm and law abiding as the future is bigger than now.
