Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA)

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA) a senatorial aspirant for the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District of Kogi State under  African Democratic Congress(ADC)and Executive Director of Africa Media Roundtable Initiative (AMRI) a media entrepreneurial and consultancy organization.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA) an investigative and Interpretative Journalist is a former
Senior Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State. He studied investigative Journalism at the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) Abuja, a training arm of the Nigeria Union of Journalist and an affiliate of International Journalism Council (IJC).

He is currently the Executive Director of Africa Media Roundtable Initiative (AMRI), Managing Director of Stardom Continental Logistics Services Nig Ltd and Publisher of the African Views Magazine.

He attended St Barnabas Secondary School Kabba between, he had a six-month Advance Level IJMBE program at the Kogi State Polytechnic Osara Campus in 2001 and later proceeded to the Department of Mathematics, the University of Ilorin between 2002 and 2005.

Omoluabi as fondly called was a unique, versatile, articulate and resilient student’s union leader during his school days. He was among others the Senate President of Nigeria Mathematics Students Association, National Association of Science Students (NASS), Co-founder National Association of Kogi State Students, Founding Father of National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) and Chairman Joint Campus Committee (JCC) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Kogi/Kwara axis.

He was appointed into the service of the National Assembly Service Commission as a non-pensionable Legislative Officer in the Office of the Chairman, Committee on Information and National Orientation, House of Representatives on the 17th July 2007. He voluntarily resigned his appointment after three (3) years of meritorious service.
He thereafter became a Director at the Unesco Centre, Abuja an international organisation that preaches the objectives of UNESCO. In the year 2010 Omoluabi became a Capacity Building Consultant to the Committee on Labour, employment and productivity and facilitated capacity building workshops, events, and conferences on several national issues and professions both within and outside Nigeria.

As a Management, media and Capacity building Consultant, Omoluabi has advocated and consulted for governmental and non-governmental organisations such as National Assembly Abuja, Defense headquarters, Abuja, Nigerian Army headquarters Abuja, Kogi State Government, Kwara State Government, Federal Road Safety Corps, Systemspecs Nig Ltd, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd etc.

As a politician of high repute, Omoluabi has been elected as a delegate to the Local and
State Party congresses, he was an aspirant for the Office of the National Youth Leader of the PDP in 2012, a contest he was robbed off later ended in Court. It is on record that Omoluabi’s litigation improved on our Legal Jurisprudence as the matter dwelled on the definition of a Youth in Nigeria.

As a patriotic son of Kogi West, Omoluabi enjoys a wide range relationship, friendship, support and contact across Kogi West nay Kogi State. He is what can best be described as a proper Kogi West Son.

In view of his unflinching support to the people, welfare and development of Kogi West, He is currently in the Federal High Court Abuja against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) seeking the restoration of the old Kabba/Bunu (1&2), Ijumu (1&2) Yagba South East,Yagba West (1&2) and Koto-Karfi (1&2) State Constituency seats that used to exist in 1991 prior to return to democracy in 1999.

Omoluabi has contributed immensely to the development of infrastructure, education, security and social-economic activities of Kogi West. He has supported several indigent students in the payment of tuition fees, he has contributed to community development and individual economic development.
