An internal investigation by THE LEAKAGES has found out that the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu PDP Primary election slated for Wednesday October 3rd was actually disrupted and neither was Hon. Teejay Yusuf declared winner of the primaries as earlier reported by our platform.
In view of the above THE LEAKAGES wish to apologize to our esteemed readers and followers for the unconfirmed reports earlier published that Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf emerged winner and that Kayode Eseyin attempted to thwart the process.
Kayode Eseyin remain a faithful PDP official of Kabba/Bunu Local Government and did not in anyway hinder the process of the primary election.
The error was traced to one of our outstation reporter based in Kabba, whose failure to properly confirmed report misled the publisher into believing that the report was correct.
Eye wittiness reports confirmed that after endlessly waiting for the arrival of election materials till about 12am midnight, aspirants, delegates and party members vacated the venue of the primary and were asked to return by 8am the next day 4th October when the election materials and party officials would have arrived Kabba to conduct the primary.
However around 2am, aspirants and their supporters being reliably informed that the election materials have been brought in hurriedly rushed down to the venue but to the astonishment of all delegates, hoodlums stormed the venue with dangerous weapons and snatched away the election materials to unknown destination.
After the ugly incident, some of the aspirants and their supporters stormed the Nigerian police area command office in Kabba to make official report as some of the Hoodlums can be identified.
As at the moment the party is yet to make any official statement over the incident.
