Leke Abejide Foundation Approves Over N40m for Payment of 1,397 Accredited Yagba Students Free WAEC Registration.

The Leading Candidate for the 2019 Yagba House of Representatives race under the platform of African Democratic Congress(ADC), Elder Leke Abejide has approved over N40m for payment of 1,397 Students WAEC fees across the three Local Government Areas in Yagba land.

The DG of Leke Abejide Foundation, Hon. Shola Adebola Gadafi explained that the foundation’s mission is to put smiles on the faces of the people in Yagba land and beyond, in few weeks to come One Thousand Three Hundred and Ninety Seven(1,397) Students across Yagba land will be issued evidence of payment of their WAEC fees by the foundation.

He said the project will restore hope and happiness among Yagba People mostly parents who maybe finding it difficult to pay the exorbitant WAEC registration fees for their children and wards.
Education still remain the best method of creating and securing a brighter future for the younger ones and even the unborn generation, he said.

In the coming WAEC Examination, Seven Hundred and Thirty Eight (738) number of Students from Yagba East will be freely registered by the foundation, for Yagba East, Four Hundred and Twenty-One (421) while for Mopa/Muro, Two Hundred and Thirty Eight (238). 

The beneficiaries and families from Mopa/Muro LGA will receive evidence of payment of WAEC registration fee on the 15th November, 2018 at ECWA Secondary School, Mopa.

Yagba West LGA and Yagba East LGA is slated for 16th and 17th November, 2018 at Okuta-Dudu High School Odo-Ere and Government Science Secondary School Itedo/Amuro Isanlu respectively.

This positive, unprecedented and  highly welcome development is one of its kind in Okunland and Kogi State at large and the foundation therefore invite prominent sons and daughters of Yagba land to witness the historic 
occasions.

Also speaking to our correspondent, the DG of the foundation said, the Free WAEC project has been in existence for over four years but was limited to only two secondary schools, Alu Community Secondary School and Igbo Ero Community Secondary School all in Yagba East LGA.
The foundation decided to extend the exercise across other LGAs in Yagba land because of her strong belief in all inclusive and people oriented empowerments projects. 

Recall that Elder Leke Abejide, who is the leading aspirant for the 2019 Yagba House of Representative election has on several occasion promised that after this year’s free WAEC for all Yagba students, no parent or guardian in Yagba land will have to pay for WAEC registration fees for the four years he will be in office when elected. 

A prominent son of Yagba land by name Hon. Ezekiel Tayo(Generator) said Elder Leke Abejide has once again shown that he is dependable, reliable and a man of his words.
