The lokoja-koto stakeholders express confidence in the leadership style of the DG and also urged that we, the Westerners, keep the tempo high for the greater political alignment ahead.

The DG stated that the era of working tirelessly for party victory and after victory having a discarded house is over. He further stated that reward system would be put in place to ensure that government programmes and policies hit the people in the right place. He called it the basket 🧺 system.

The attention of the management of Kogi State University, Kabba, has been drawn to a message making the rounds online about recruitment into the services of the institution.

The message claims that one 'Alhaji Ibrahim' with an accompanying phone number should be contacted for lecturing opportunities in our institution.

Members of the public are to kindly note that *this is a fraud* that should be flagged down wherever it is found. 

The advertisement of positions for employment into Kogi State University was released on the 17th of August, 2923. The public is requested to note that candidates need not 'know' anyone to be considered. 

The recruitment process into lecturing positions in KSU Kabba will be strictly merit based and in adherence to due process of law.

The general public is by this notice assured that investigation into this fraudulent activity is ongoing with a view to unmasking the perpetrator(s). 

In the meantime, the general public is urged to report any useful tip that may lead to the arrest of the authors to the Police.

The director general Kogi West Youth Mobilisation Ododo/Oyibo Campaign Council, Obanibi Michael (BRASS) under the leadership of Hon. Funsho Olumoko, the DG kogi West Campaign Council, hails the direction of the people at the just concluded Kogi State gubernatorial election.

The former student leader and the director of youth Mobilisation kogi west in the just concluded gubernatorial election Obanibi Michael (BRASS) has described the victory of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo (OAU) at the November 11th 2023 poll in Kogi State as announced by the independent national electoral commission (INEC) as a pointer from governor Yahaya Bello productive governance and his ability to accommodate everyone irrespective of your class and status.

The tight contest between Leke Abejide, Muri Ajaka, Dino Melaye, and our Governor-Elect, his excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The director of youth Mobilisation Kogi West APC gubernatorial campaign council, in his statement praised the traditional rulers, christian association of Nigeria (CAN) spiritual heads who made the victory a well deserved one through support from their groups and individuals to garner such an enviable figure.

He further thanked various support groups, youths, and student leaders who further demonstrated the aluta in them and made sure victory is served. 

Comr. Obanibi michael thanked the electorates and gave them the assurance of laying hands on the benefits of government programmes and access to basic amenities.

The DG youth Mobilisation kogi west further thanked the governor for bringing dividend of democracy to the people door step. He sited the recent university gifted to the kogi west people and listed major projects in Okunland that birthed the massive support given by the good people of kogi West and kogi state at large. 

He commended security agencies and INEC for their professional conduct during and after the election.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Social Welfare, Hon. Tunde Akanmidu has sent his congratulatory message to the Governor Elect on his resounding victory at the just concluded Kogi State gubernatorial election, saying, "it is a victory well deserved".

Appraising the roles of the electoral umpires especially the INEC and Security agencies, Tunde describes the processes as the most freest, fare,  peaceful and rancour free election in the history of Kogi State .

Tunde also commend the high level of professional conduct of all the security agencies deployed to monitor the election.  Saying, "It was indeed without any forms of harassment, bullying or intimidation".

Hon. Tunde has however called on all other gubernatorial candidates from other political parties that participated in the election to join hands with the incoming government toward improving on the legacies of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

5 REASONS WHY DINO MELAYE CAN NOT WIN GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION.

1. Lack of Trust and Credibility: Dino Melaye has a history of controversial statements, actions, and behavior, which has negatively impacted his public image. Many voters may find it difficult to trust and believe in his ability to lead effectively as a governor. The trust deficit could significantly hamper his chances of winning the governorship election.

2. Governance Track Record: Melaye's previous experience as a legislator does not directly translate to executive leadership. Voters  question his ability to effectively manage the complex responsibilities of a governor, voters may be hesitant to support his candidacy due to lack of human capital, voters does not have any significant reference for human development in his previous leadership positions. 

3. Political Instability: Melaye has frequently changed political parties throughout his career and has been associated with different factions for selfish interests. Such inconsistency and lack of political stability may make voters skeptical about his commitment to serving their interests and may question his ability to bring about stable governance.

4. Source of his wealth: propaganda/ tarnishing people’s image is his source of wealth. 

5. Opposition from Incumbent Party: If Melaye is running against a strong incumbent candidate from a well-established political party, he may face significant challenges. The ruling party's machinery and resources, coupled with the advantages of incumbency, can make it difficult for an opposition candidate like Melaye to gather the necessary support and momentum to win the election.

In a bid to sustain the remarkable legacies established by Alhaji Yahaya Bello in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ijumu Local Government Area (LGA) Campaign Council, under the exceptional leadership of the DG, Hon. Richard Osaseyi, embarked on a campaign and sensitization visit to prominent personalities and critical stakeholders in Abuja today.
