Days after Gov. Bello reject anti-grazing law, Fulani herdsmen wreck havoc on Oba Jeledo daughter's rice farm.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Thursday invaded a farm belonging to Princess Olayemi Joledo Ayomah, the daughter of Oba Julius Joledo, the Elulu of Mopa in Mopa/Muro Local Government of Kogi State.

The rampaging herdsmen chased away residents from the place and destroyed the farm.

The invaders stormed the farm settlement near Oyi Dam in Ejiba, Yagba West LGA  area of the state thursday, armed with dangerous weapons.

The incident occurred only few days after Governor Bello kicked against the anti-grazing law to curtail the activities of the Fulani herdsmen. While responding to traditional rulers who advised him to support the anti-grazing law,  the Governor threatened to depose any traditional ruler over any herdsmen, farmer's clash in the state.

The governor also ordered that Fulani must henceforth be appointed into the state executive council, local government council and all the traditional councils in the state.

The decision of the Governor not to put in place measures to check the activities of the herdsmen has further embolden the herdsmen to cause more havoc in the state.
