Barika da Sallah to all Muslim Faithful

Eid-il-Adha, the ritual of animal sacrifice has remained a means of attaining nearness to Almighty Allah. It is a sacrifice that Muslims offer with fervour and enthusiasm on the 10th of Zhul-Hijjah. Its import and essence is to show taqwa, piety to the Creator; it also serves the purpose of sadaqah because the meat of the animal is distributed for eating. Prophet Ibrahim and his son (as) offered us great lessons and a pathway for genuine faith and submission to Allah (SWT). Q37:100-110.
As Muslims around the world celebrate another sallah,  I Hon. David Arokoyo (fada), aspirant for Kogi State House of Assembly, Kabba/Bunu constituency wish to congratulate all our Muslim brethren and call for prayers, peaceful coexistence and sacrifice among Nigerians and our community in particular.
I wish to use this medium to reassured the people of Kabba/Bunu that if given the opportunity to represent you in the state House of Assembly come 2019, would continue to give priority to people oriented legislative activities, welfare, security of lives and property as well as other key sectors of the economy that can bring drastic development to our people.
I wish to call for prayers as we approach another political phase for a rancour free electoral processes, shun political violence do only those things that will bring development to our community and the entire people of the state, describing the celebration as ‘a period for the faithful to pray for the country and the state to overcome the current economic challenges’.
