There are emerging information as to how the APC leaders led by Taofik Isah, sole administrator of Ijumu LGA plans to detonate some explosives devices in the Ijumu LGA INEC office, and others which include Kabba Bunu and Lokoja LGA.
The plans was to ensure that PDP was not announced at the final collation points.
Our attention has been drawn to a scary emerging information which had it that the sole administrators in Kogi West have perfected plans to bomb Ijumu, Kabba-Bunu and Lokoja LGA INEC offices through the use explosive devices.
This is simply a desperation taken too far.
'We wish to state that all hands must be on deck to support security agencies in other avert this disturbing situation where election has been declared as war'.
These must not be allowed to happen as PDP believes in free, fair and transparent process devoid of violence and thuggery.
At this point, all security agencies must do everything professionally and humanly possible to avert this impeding disaster. Peoples life and properties are placed on danger by this desperate actors.
Ijumu LGA administrator have been on rampage since the commencement of this election, moving around with imported thugs to harass and snatch ballot boxes.
We call on all and sundry to hold APC leaders and all sole administrators responsible if eventually they execute their unfortunate plans.
We equally charge security agencies particularly the Nigerian Police to ensure adequate security cover at the various local govt areas where election results will be announced.
PDP wish to state that election is a process guided by certain rules and not a war.
