COVID-19: KOGI PHILANTHROPIST, BEN OLOWODOLA PROVIDES SUCCOR FOR THE PEOPLE OF KABBA/BUNU

It was a moment of excitement and exhilaration at the palace of Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi as the representatives of the leadership of Kabba Development Union and Bunu Development Association arrived the palace at noon to receive food items donated by Kogi frontline philanthropist and political leader, Elder Benjamin Olowodola on Tuesday. The gesture which is a response to the plight of the people of the area, particularly occasioned by the sit at home order of government in fighting the ravaging coronavirus in Nigeria.

The distribution of food items began at exactly twenty five minutes after twelve noon upon the arrival of about twelve people expected at the palace, including the two notable community development associations in Kabba/Bunu, representative of the donor and few stakeholders in the Local government.

While delivering the message of Elder Benjamin Olowodola, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, said he was excitedly perplexed to see the huge support Elder Benjamin Olowodola is giving his people, he expressed happiness particularly because the intention of the elder statesman is one that is completely and hundred percent about the welfare of his people at all time, especially at a time of global uncertainty, fear and devastating blow on the human race by COVID-19, as the combative efforts to curb its spread  puts the people at home without food and basics. He therefore said coming to give out food items is the most responsive and philanthropic thing to do by the Elder statesman.

Kabba Development Union represented by the association's Public Relations Official, Mr James Olorunmolu was grateful to Elder Olowodola for his kindness, philanthropic heart and assistance at a time like this. Mr Olorunmolu says the Union is indeed grateful to Elder Olowodola for remembering the people at home, he described him as responsive and a great community leader.

On his part, National President, Bunu Development Association, Rev Jemibawondo led a session of prayers for Elder Olowodola, he says Bunuland is grateful for putting them in his plans, Rev Jemibawondo says the food items will be of immense benefits to cushion the hard time the coronavirus has caused.
