The bold step has been described as unprecedented in the annals of electioneering promises in Kogi West as no aspirant has achieved such feat before being elected.
Apart from the exercise books, he has also promised to make provision of text books in compulsory subjects to all the public schools in Kogi West before the end of third quarter of 2018.
It will be recalled that Omoluabi commenced distribution of Youths/ Women skills acquisition and entrepreneurial empowerment development forms across the senatorial district through the traditional, political, religious and community leaders across the seven LGAs of Kogi West. The forms are meant to admit One thousand and five hundred Youths and Women for the Skills acquisition that commences in February 2018.
The beneficiaries are to be trained in the area of Soap and Paints making, Digital photography, Make-up artistry, Cake making, Events Management and Decoration.
The people of Kogi west have described these uncommon and great steps as a departure from the lies from politicians of the past.
In his words Omoluabi says "Our aspiration is not one of such that seeks to satisfy personal desires and pecuniary gains but a true course to serve the people who have been politically and developmentally raped, deceived and impoverished.
Every single promise will receive noticeable fulfilment even before election.
Education in Kogi West is a departure from the past and a shadow of the old glory. We are set to distribute seven thousand exercise books to schools across the seven LGAs even as we are making efforts to purchase textbooks of compulsory subjects before the third quarter of 2018. With this, the students' desire for learning will resurge and our lost glory will be restored. All we need is your prayers for enablement and vote to get there in order to do more.
