Bar Natasha Akpoti who exposed how Yahaya Bello connived with GINL to shortchanged Nigeria over Ajaokuta Steel Company on National TV on the 29th January last year has picked her nomination form to contest the Kogi Central Senatorial election under the Social Democratic Party(SDP) today.
Natasha Akpoti after the exposure made a U-turn and started sing-praising Yahaya Bello’s government with hopes of getting the Governor’s support to contest the Kogi Central Senatorial election under APC platform.
Her hope was however dashed after discovering the Governor support is not forthcoming. The Governor is said to be rooting for his Wife Amina Yahaya Bello who is from the same Ihima as Natasha to become the APC flag bearer
If at the end of all party primaries,Natasha Akpoti finally emerged as the SDP candidate, then she will have to contend with the Governor’s APC candidate(First Lady) come 2019 alongside the incumbent Senator Ahmed Ogembe of PDP who from all indication may benefit from the proposed offer of automatic tickets to all National Assembly members under the party.
