KABBA DAY 2018: ALL IS SET FOR CULTURAL RENAISSANCE AND TRADITIONAL PROSPERITY


As the 2018 Kabba Day celebration gets closer, the mood and look of the ancient city suggests that of a happy and united people. Owe land is a community of people with unique culture, tradition and dinstinctions. Kabba is known and blessed with varieties of great accomplishments and history. Kabba is the signpost for the rest of the yoruba speaking people of Kogi state, celebrating Kabba Day is therefore epoch making.

In a press release signed by the Chairman, Pubicity Committee and Spokesperson for the 2018 edition of Kabba Day Celebration, the events leading to the saturday grand finale started with huge attedance, glamour and colour. Local games competition and several other culturally rich events have taken over the entire ancient city.

Omoluabi says that the people of Oweland have shown love, demonstrated unity and exemplified patriotism in all forms. He assured invited guests, royal guests, friends and the people of Okunland of a peaceful, eventful and successful Kabba Day 2018.

Kabba Day 2018 will receive the Governor of Kogi state, Alh Yahaya Bello as the Special Guest and Oonirisa Adimula Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja ll will be the grand Royal Guest of the Day.

The 2018 edition in sponsored by Africa's telecomunication giant, Gloaccom, Guiness Plc and Nestle Nigeria

The press release further says that the leadership of the entire Owe Community under the reign and traditional headship of Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, Otitoleke Oweyomade 1, Engr Emmanuel Ajibero, President-General, Kabba Development Union and Mr Ralph Okomoda, Chairman Central Planning Committee, Kabba Day 2018 on behalf of the entire Community welcome all and sundry to the most populous and celebrated event in November.
