There is palpable apprehension in Kogi State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, following judgment of the tribunal sitting in Abuja.
The court had on Monday dismissed SDP Natasha Akpoti petition challenging Governor Yahaya Bello victory.
Ahead of the PDP vs APC tribunal judgement, members, stakeholders and chieftains of PDP in the State are said to be in total disarray following the unexpected defeat of SDP Natasha Akpoti earlier today at the Governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja.
The news of the ruling has been generating tension across the state leading to PDP leaders in the state going into an emergency meeting to avoid another chaotic situation in the coming ruling between the PDP vs APC.
The SDP candidate do not only lost out to the incumbent Governor but she will also pay N100,000 to each of the respondent according to the ruling. The tribunal described the petition as a waste of time and most unsuccessful.
