The Honourable Member Representing Yagba federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide felicitates with Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year's Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Hon. Leke in his Sallah message urged Muslims to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice to Almighty Allah and humanity.
The House Member said this period is significant to obedience and also calls for more prayer for the Nation and our dear state.
In his statement, Hon Leke advised that Muslims should extend the spiritual benefits of Eid-el-Kabir to others and also not to forget to pray for unity and togetherness that stimulates growth.
"Our nation Nigeria needs more prayer than before, especially at this trying time that the world is battling with the pandemic".
I urge you all to imbibe the lessons of Allah and also give ourselves up to what the Holy book teaches in the ways of love, peace and harmony to formulate coexistence that builds National peace.
While wishing Muslim faithfuls a great celebration, Hon. Leke encouraged them to be calm and modest in their celebration, also to extend the hands of love to the needy and less privileged during this period.
He further reminded the people to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) whose sacrificial and obedient life is the reason for the celebration.
