Omoluabi congratulates Kogi CJ, President CCA, says Bello has broken jinx of 30 years as first Okun CJ emerge.

The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Olabode Adeyemi has congratulated two eminent jurists, Hon. Justice H.A Olusuyi on his appointment as the Chief Judge in the State and Hon. Justice Bayo Olowosegun who is now the President Customary Court of Appeal.

Omoluabi while describing the duo as sound and distinguished officers of the bench who have left indelible footprints in the dispensation of justice in the nation’s judiciary expressed hope that their elevation will energise them for more fearless landmarks in the country’s legal system.

In a release he personally endorsed on Wednesday, Omoluabi reiterated that the two justices represent hope for the common man.

*I have no doubt in my mind Justices Olusuyi and Olowosegun have hit a threshold in their chosen career by a notch of hard work, commitment and fearlessness. Their elevation by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to man very critical judicial positions in our dear state for the first time from their tribe is a testament that their contributions to fostering justice are not only noted but felt.

“At a time when underhand dealings have threatened the sacredness of our nation’s sanctuary of justice, these two jurists among others stand tall with undented integrity and honour which has been rewarded with a higher call for service.

Omoluabi says since the creation of Kogi in 1991, Governor Yahaya Bello administration is the first to consider an Okun man for the head of judicial arm of the state.
“This further highlights how much our dear governor cares about Kogi West. The appointment of their illustrious sons into such enviable positions has further solidified the governor’s profile as a vanguard of constitutional democracy and highly detribalised leader” he said.

Omoluabi appealed to people of the state to offer support to the two eminent justices as they set out on a journey to deepen the root of justice dispensation in the country.

Gov. Yahaya Bello on Wednesday inaugurated Justice Henry Adebola Olusiyi as the acting Chief Judge (CJ) of the state following the demise of the immediate past Chief Judge, Justice Nasir Ajanah, on June 28.

The governor also sworn-in Justice Bayo Olowosegun as the acting President of the state Customary Court of Appeal, following the vacuum created by the death of the immediate past president, Justice Ibrahim Atadoga, on June 22.
