๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐,
As a concerned Kogite and member of the Kabba community, I am writing to urgently address the troubling situation in our area. Kabba is in distress following the abduction of three aides of the Kabba/Bunu CTC Chairman, Barrister Dare Zacheaus, and two Kogi State University students on August 2nd, while they were traveling on the Kabba-Okene expressway.
We are grateful to God Almighty for the swift release of the Chairman, but we are deeply troubled that three of his aides and the two students remain in captivity. Today marks the eighth day of their ordeal, causing significant suffering for their families, friends, and the entire Kabba community.
These individuals are valued members of our community, and their ongoing captivity underscores the urgent need for increased intervention. We urge you to intensify efforts to ensure their immediate and safe release.
We appreciate your ongoing efforts to combat insecurity, but we believe more needs to be done. We call on you to enhance the response of the Kogi State government and security agencies to address this pressing issue.
Additionally, we urge the implementation of long-term strategies to tackle the root causes of insecurity in our state to prevent such incidents in the future. The safety of our state must be a top priority.
The Kabba people are ready to support any initiative that will lead to the safe return of our abducted members and improve overall security in Kabba.
We trust you will act decisively to resolve this situation.
Thank you for your immediate attention.
Yours sincerely,
๐-๐ผ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฎ๐ญ,
Olayinka Samuel
