The Supreme Court has commenced its final ruling on the disputed Kogi State governorship election between Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The SDP Candidate, Muri Ajaka has approached the tribunal to challenge the outcome of the election that produced the incumbent Governor, Usman Adodo.

The sitting Governor who won the battle at both the tribunal and appeal is set to know his final fate as supreme court is set to pass judgement on the disputed matter.

But today's judgement at the supreme court has been reserved for another day. The judgement would have put an end to who will govern the confluence state for four years of single term.
