NAKOSS Postpone National Convention Indefinitely

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE NATIONAL SECRETARIAT OF  NAKOSS ON THE POSTPONMENT OF FORTHCOMING NAKOSS NATIONAL CONVENTION.

Date: 17-March-2018.

Fellow Kogi State Students, sequel upon the recent development in the National Association of Kogi State Students by some disgruntle elements,  we wish to inform our esteem members and members of the general public that NAKOSS NATIONAL CONVENTION has been postponed indefinitely.

The National Secretariat of NAKOSS has specifically come out to address and inform all our members that the current leadership of the Association has started the process of transmitting power to new set of elected officials that will pilot affairs of the Association.

The leadership of the Association as required by the constitution hereby announce the following as electoral committee members.

1. Barr Zacchaeous Dare Micheal-Chairman.
2. Comrade Ahmodu Ibrahim Akiti-Secretary
3.Comrade Abubakar Attah Kadiri-PRO
4.Comrade Isiaku Suleiman-Member
5. Comrade Idrisu Yahaya-Member
6. Comrade Abdulmalik Hadi Adinoyi.-Member.

We further use this forum to invite all our National Stakeholders for all important stakeholders meeting and interaction with the outgoing leadership to chart a way forward for the forthcoming convention. This meeting is slated to hold on the 29th of March 2018, at National Museum by 2PM Prompt.

We want to equally invite all our senators in the thirty six states of the federation and the FCT to  Pre-Convention Senate meeting slated to hold on the 5th of April , 2018 @ Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State by 10am.

Consequently , the electoral committee will announce a conducive date for the convention after meeting with the Leadership, Senate Arm and the stakeholders who are ex-officios of the Association.

Conclusively, on behalf of myself and other executives and as well as the Senate Arm, we wish to once again use this avenue to appreciate you all for your enduring support so far while believing that we will continue to enjoy more of this for the betterment and development of our association (NAKOSS).
