Kogi Guber: Jubilation In PDP Over adoption of Indirect Primaries in APC.

In what seemed like an unusual turn of events, there was jubilation among members of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Kogi State over decision of APC National Working Committee(NWC) adoption of indirect mode of primaries to elect the party flag-bearer ahead of the November Governorship election in Kogi State.

At the PDP secretariat on Friday, some members were seen jubilating the decision of the APC NWC, insisting that the indirect primaries will be in favour of Yahaya Bello who they strongly believe will be easy to defeat if he emerges as the party candidate because he has lost popularity among Kogites due to his abysmal performance in entrenching good governance in the State.

"Alhough APC is free to choose any mode of primaries they want, we know and believe he is not and will never be a good product to market to Kogites. Now, the PDP can jubilate and say good riddance to bad rubbish," they said.

This is someone who has failed woefully, someone who has no records at all, someone who has plunge the state into irrecoverable debts, failed to pay salaries for over two years and reduced the state to a mere dilapidated infrastructure.

Members of the party said the PDP will now step towards reorganising and repositioning itself ahead of the November 2019 election.

This is a welcome development as Yahaya Bello had been a complete failure at night and Enemy of Kogites by day.
His exit will create space for total emancipation and freedom for Kogites, PDP will bring back the needed development and responsive governance to the state.
This is a good signal for our PDP, so Yahaya Bello departure from Lugard house is something we shall all celebrate.
