My Perception of Igala Agenda, since Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello became the Governor of Kogi State: By Engr. M. Jamiu Habeeb.

Sincerely, I have never doubted most of the Igala people's support for GYB since he became the Governor of Kogi State and the way they trooped out to welcome him whenever he visits the place for any official functions/event,  it's never a surprise to me.

Reasons;
Firstly, GYB is the Governor of the whole Kogi State, not just to one Senatorial District and he has never been biased in all he does across the three Senatorial Zones of the State.

Secondly, the most high ranking  Royal Father of Igala Land, HRM, Dr. Idakwo Ameh, the Attah Of Igala whom they so much believe in his words and as well recognized as the Father of Igala land have been so much supportive to GYB led administration, and he has also voiced it out publicly several times for his support and endorsement for GYB second term bid in office.

Thirdly, the Appointees from Igala land in the present administration under GYB have been representing them pretty well. The Chief of Staff to the State Government, Hon. Edward Onuja's effort alone and generosity towards the Igalas and as well across other Senatorial Zones of the State is very encouraging. He has shown total commitment in supporting & serving as one of the strong pillars to the present Administration and he is winning more development to Igala land.

He's a man who hardly forgets yesterday especially if you have a good relationship with him. I can categorically say that, the position he is occupying today have not changed him for a bit, rather, he's even more connected to people of the grassroots compared to when he was just an ordinary Mr. Edward Onuja. Most of the Youths of Igala land have benefited a lot from him and he is ready to do more for them. He was able to change the mindset of the people of Igala land mostly the youths who are actively involved in politics by convincing them to see more reasons why GYB should return back to Lugard House.  He spares his time to educate the youths and encourage them to work hard for the progress of the State.
He once said an "I" quote; " This present dispensation under GYB is going to correct so many mistakes in the past, especially on the part of not allowing other Senatorial Districts to rule the State because we Igala are the majority in the State, No!. "Let chance be giving to other Senatorial Zones as well". Above all, He, the Chief of Staff easily forgive those he once had an issue with when GYB was nursing his first term political ambition. He would welcome them in, ask them to join hands with him to support GYB and he as well carried them along.
I must say, he has really proved his worth and loyalty towards GYB and APC Party.

Fourthly,  the victory recorded in the recent  General election ( Presidential / National Assembly / State Assembly) in Igala land has never been witnessed like this before. It shows most of the good people of Igala land are fully in support of GYB, their Representatives/ Leaders of APC party under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Hon. Edward's leadership style is worth emulating. May Almighty God continue to be his strength and the Good people who have been so supportive. Amen🙏🏻.
