Kogi Guber: N198million Earmarked To Sponsor Fake Governorship Aspirants In Kogi as workers, pensioners laments unpaid salaries.

As the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC In Kogi State persist, Gov. Yahaya Bello has allegedly hired over 15persons to join in the Governorship race ahead of the party primaries in the state.

About N113m is said to have been earmarked for this project amidst non payment of two(2) year’s workers salaries and pension in the state.

Inside sources revealed that the plot is to purchase governorship nomination forms for the hired aspirants/members of APC whose mission is to promote Yahaya Bello’s preference for indirect mode of primaries as against the Twenty(20) other aggrieved aspirants who stormed  the party headquarters on Monday to demand for direct primaries, the fake and hired aspirants are also to serve as moles in the party.

It further stressed that the aim is to mobilized and sponsor other aspirants to join Bello in adopting Indirect primaries as Bello at the moment remain the only aspirants among twenty-three(23) others in the party insisting on indirect primaries.

The expected outcome is to influence the awaiting decision of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Working Committee(NWC) of the party on mode of primaries to be adopted in the state.
Some of the fake aspirants are already making declaration on media and showcasing expression of interest to join the guber race all in the name of sabotaging the interest of all APC members who wants a direct mode of primaries.

Few hours ago, Amade Edime from Dekina, Governor Bello’s G9 support group coordinator for Kogi East has also declared, others include, Murtala Muhammad  Jimoh, Yakubu Audu, Katun Muhammad, Umar  Ibrahim, Musa  Hussaini, Suleiman Bashir Lawal, Comrade John Arome, Tony Ogah, Zaccheaus Dare Micheal, Ade Bright and several other persons from the west and central.

On this note, we therefore wish to call the attention of the general public to this devilish antics of Yahaya Bello to subvert the wish of Kogites who believes direct mode of primaries remain the best in choosing the party candidate ahead of the November Election.

All Kogites would have expected that the Governor attend to backlog of unpaid workers salaries and pensions rather than wasting a whopping some of N123m on chasing shadows.

We also call on the APC NWC, that the decision of the this sponsored aspirants who have been mobilized to pick nomination forms do not represent the interest of Kogites in anyway.
