The waves of political tsunami enveloping Kogi state assumed more interesting dimension over the weekend across Kogi state. The beauty of the news is that the activities are coming from the party that is the fastest growing in Kogi state.

Candidates of the African Democratic Congress have continued to put up very impressive and intimidating activities that leaves many to conclude that ADC has emerged as the most credible, acceptable and popular alternative party in Kogi state. While the Senatorial candidates of the party in Kogi east locked down Ayingba, the commercial nerve of Igala nation with intimidating and unprecedented political rally signalling the commencement of the party's campaign, the train of the Kogi West Senatorial Candidate, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi held expanded consultative stakeholders and endorsement meeting with the major political bigwigs of Lokoja LGA and party officials.

Leading the pack of the leaders is a former Lokoja LGA Chairman, Hon Mobo Kassim, Hon Bozi, ADC State Secretary and the LGA Party Chairman, Hon Maiyaki aka Let them Say. The leaders took turn to assure the Senatorial hopeful of their readiness and conclution to work for the victory of the party and the candidate in February 2019.
During his welcome address, the Party Chairman enjoined the staleholders to work assiduously for the victory of the party at all level, he said Omoluabi is the best candidate for the forth coming election, he described him as belonging to  the generation of the youth and as such will be accessible and conduct his office in the interest of the people and party. He said that Omoluabi will not fail or abandon the party leaders when he assumes office.

The Senatorial Candidate during his address touched on issues that are key to development ad progress of the people. He promised to religiously implement a community based system of project implementation, this process allows the communities to determine the projects acruing to them and follow the implementation process.

Omoluabi described the perennial flooding affecting Lokoja/Koto as unfortunate and a clear demonstration of failure of represrntation. Speaking earlier, the ADC House of Reps Candidate for Lokoja/Koto Surv Zak described his conbination  with Omoluabi as timely and of essence.
